I ignored mine, but she did the same with me. She was taking long to reply, but I asked her where I stand so not to waste my time. She came back a month later and we started communicating again but she started playing again so I moved on. She started to text to ask what is happening and I replied, she kept on texting month after month but since she never asked to meet I stopped replying to her messages, she carried on texting asking if am ok and finally she asked if we are not talking anymore, but still I never replied. For me it's not about having power or because I have other women, just could not see any future in it and got fed up.

I was on a walk today and I found a miniature lock on the ground like the one on your back ground, thought that was so cool! Encouraged me to keep going because I felt like soothing my anxiety in a self destructive way, but haven’t and I was reminded in all that anxiety to sit with my feelings, so that’s what I’m doing! Hey coach, two weeks into no contact and by total surprise she reached out two days ago. I took your advice and left it to the following day to reply, I kept my cool like you instructed not letting my social and separation anxiety get the better of me (hardest thing ever). Tonight we went on our first date since the break up, it was a little arkward at first but if I'm honest it couldn't have gone any better. The attraction and passion was obviously still there between us. When we arrived back to mine for a "coffee" well I think you know where this is going haha🙈. I want to say regret but maybe that is the wrong word I just hope we haven't ruined our chances by staying the night together. I have suffered with anxiety all my life (29yrs) I think I'm just over thinking, I'm sure you know the feeling. I would say this. As happy as you both feel, the worse thing you can do us rush into things. You were in a relationship before and it didn't work out, and even though the spark is still there, it doesn't mean it'll work out this time. Good luck anywayz.

What if your ex isnt talking to others. I smothered a man who was single 13 years before me. I gave him to much to fast. Hes doing the same thing. Telling me he will think about it. I dont "feel" like a back burner but I could be wrong. I finally went nc. We will see what happens. The problem was that I was too nice and tried to make him feel like a relationship was better than sitting at home drinking his loneliness away (what he told me). I learned the weekends when he would come to see me was also when he would drink so I was in competition with a 13 year habit. He entered counciling this week. I hope he continues. He has avoident attch. Due to trauma. His mom died when he was young. Raised by dad he didnt really know but now cant seperate from. I have anxious attch. Due to trauma and people getting rid of me young. Its a mess. So I guess no contact and working on myself is best and we will see how it goes. I just hate that eventhough Im doing this that I know he believes Im waiting and gives him power or guilt. Ugh

Would a dumper feel the same emotions if they were being ignored by the dumpee? I ignored my dumper after asking him to leave me alone. He kept texting how I was etc. I found out as well he had shared personal information about me and some information were just lies. He also cheated on me and disappeared for 3 days. I felt I was doing the right thing at the time by ignoring him completely.

Hi Craig, Thank you for amazing content! Would love your opinion on this situation: After breaking up with my ex (we were engaged) we both tried moving on for two years. I have tried my best to move on. It seems as though he has not moved on too. He recently changed his profile picture to a pet I used to own. When me and my 3x broke up I'm not sure who did the breaking because things were said and done that were messy and nasty emotionally. I decided that for myself I had to face the truth of my situation whilst having empathy for him if I was to feel better about moving forward so I decided to let him go and wished him luck and wanted to give him the space as well as myself to find ourselves. I even took his things back which was the right thing to do and saw him face to face. I wished him luck and to take care and he wished me the same. When I asked him why he was ignoring me it was apparently because of what I said. I want to be civil and polite, but I'm still being ignored, and I know enough to say that if I carry on with no response I'm only going to embarrass myself and make myself moving on even harder. 🍒

Something's weird about this story... This is not how birth control works afaik, you have to stop taking the hormonal pill at the end of each cycle anyways. It doesn't make you automatically pregnant and it doesn't mean she did that on purpose or was just reckless. And you don't just shove the "morning after pill" down someone's throat, it can have horrible side effects. If the risk of her actually getting pregnant is so low, makes perfect sense to not take it. Seems like that issue could've been resolved easily with communication, right? But he just cuts her out and jumps onto other women, as if he's been waiting for her to make a mistake. I'm not trying to point fingers or accuse anyone, just genuinely don't understand, seems like we're not getting the full picture.

This is a late post but, the girl he spoke about wouldn't have gotten pregnant because depending on how many days before she had sex and when her period was supposed to start would have made her vagina inhospitable for sperm to survive. There is a window to getting pregnant. I'm angry at her ex for having sex with her unprotected and then having the audacity to force her to take a pill. I'm disappointed in BOTH for taking a risk for all the above...there should have been a discussion before and right after. As a woman she has the right to decide what SHE wants to do with HER body especially right after sex.

There is such thing called a condom and if he didn't have one then that is his fault. People don't need to use the day after pill as birth control. That is what is wrong with this world. Smh..... You may want to go to a therapist because in this video the lady clearly disregarded her partners feelings and emotions. In a healthy relationship there should be enough communication and trust present where this situation never would have happened to begin with.

CC I feel for this guy. I know exactly how he feels. But he is just delusional. I know men are animals of action and he wants to do something. All I could do is to read up on relationship, push my lawyer as hard as possible to get my divorce papers signed by the soon to be ex, exercise and for the first time in my life get some meds to control anxiety.
