100% true. I’m more of an anxious person with my ex but I’m more avoidant with other women I’m romantically involved with, it’s weird.

I get this. But it seems like with this approach we're relieving their pressure and increasing ours. No one wants to be played or waste their time. If they're so confused, spending time with them gives no incentive to make a decision. I understand taking it slow and trying to reconnect, I think that's necessary. At the same time, to me this comes with boundaries that should be communicated. If not, it's too much of an emotional risk . You should still know each other's intentions. Just my opinion.

Regarding Gina N comment, why is she having to do anything to relieve his pressure and help him with feeling less confusion? She's his ex and he's with someone new. If she does this he's having his cake and eating it too. This just makes him too complacent. And at the end of the day, she's losing so to speak. Not that it's a game but I'm saying she's selling herself short. She's giving him time and access to her etc with no relationship or commitment.

Could you please film a more detailed video about what to consider/ how to deal with an ex in the quarterlife/midlife crisis? I feel that my ex has no room for anything else in the world but work + uni. He has got the mindest of „first the hard part, then the fun / relaxing part“ which leads to onnnlllyyy work and mind focusing on work..

Hi Janne, I'm sorry to hear that you r ex is going through midlife. We understand that this must be tough for you. Though we cannot "fix" someone who has midlife crisis, it is best to encourage the person to seek the help of a licensed professional for proper intervention.

Would you also tell you ex "lets not worry about where this is going" when just inviting her for an activity with the kids present, which to me sounds like a safe enough situation? In other words, how do you know whether you need to take pressure off of something that in itself seems innocent enough?
