I would LOVE to live in Hyde Park! And it would be so cool to live nearby the campus because it’s so beautiful. But I suggest visiting a few of the neighborhoods you’re considering beforehand to get the vibe!

Fun Fact: Hyde Park was named after the man who first put forward legislation protecting individuals from criminal prosecution for using self-defense in situations; Samuel Hyde.

People of color but especially Blacks weren't allowed in the fair. In the Midway Plaisance featured human zoos where Tribal Indigenous Peoples from all over the were "displayed" in cages and replicas of their "natural environment".
