It really depends, honestly. If you go to Tokyo it's really crowded and hard to feel peaceful at all. Also, east Shinjuku is a little dirty but overall it's quite nice

I mean every country has people like that, it’s normal. But what most country doesn’t have are the way they(seller,workers, etc.) care for their products, how they want the best for the buyer. Or how people could leave stuff on the side walk and no one will take it.

NM 9.2 I have been to several cities in Japan, I felt some locals there were fake nice and the people of Kyoto were most impolite and rude. And I heard that they even rude to other cities’ people in Japan. So, don’t expect to much otherwise you will be disappointed!

Stay away from Japan. Radioactive contamination problem is still ongoing problem in Japan. Almost 18,000 Japanese people died with cancer or leukemia caused by radioactive contamination from Fukushima. Stop eating radioactive contaminated food and water. Otherwise, you're going to get cancer, leukemia or infertility. Japan WAS good country but it's severely contaminated by radiation since Fukushima earthquake happened in 2011. Additionally Japanese government is trying to hide the truth about radioactive contamination. However, People have the right to know the truth and what's going on really in Japan.
@user-su2dd1qe7q
@user-su2dd1qe7q 3 жыл бұрын
No, I think you have the wrong number. 18000 is number of people killed & missing from whole earthquake and tsunami. There is literally non people reported being dead from cancer from radiation, there was like 50 people reported as cancer which is just few points above average. Discrimination against people of Fukushima is what we Japanese got over years ago. I am not sure how bad it is said in your country (guessing South Korea, sorry if I was wrong) but you really need to check the fact.

Japanese people wish the happiness of people all over the world. In 1920 and 1922, Japan rescued 765 Polish orphans in Siberia. Poland asked Japan to rescue a Polish orphan in Siberia. Japan promised to rescue immediately. The smallest orphaned child was 2 years old. The child was crying near the dead mother. The Japanese rescued the orphan immediately. The child told the dead mother "Goodbye Mom". Japan rescued a total of 765 Polish orphans.Japan sent orphans to Japan for treatment.Orphans ate delicious and warm meals every day. All Polish orphans have recovered. Almost all Japanese donated money to save orphans. On the day of return, all 765 Polish orphans returned to Poland safely. In 2018, an elementary school commemorating this was completed in Warsaw. Japanese people wish the happiness of people all over the world.

Few years ago, I went to Hokkaido via Narita airport. It was about 7am local time when we were approaching Tokyo, I was looking out the window and suddenly a beautiful snow capped mountain appeared and I quickly woke my friend up to admire the view. I was pretty sure it was Mount Fuji. When I returned home and told my friend who worked as a cabin crew in JAL about my experience, she told me it was indeed mount Fuji and I was lucky that I saw it on the plane. So, if you want to chance upon the Mt Fuji view onboard the plane, request for a seat on the left side of the plane (if you are facing the direction of the pilot).

If anyone is considering this, I would highly highly suggest adding a couple days on the end points. The middle would all be included in the tour and there's nothing you can do about it being a whirlwind tour. Tours are generally designed to be a whirlwind since they're kind of on the clock. But give yourself an extra day or two more in Tokyo so you can actually take a bite out of it rather than a lick, and another day or two on the end so you can slow down your time in Kyoto, and actually see something in Osaka. If you only have 8 days I'd suggest just sticking to one or two areas. If you have more like 11-14, then this could make a good middle 8 days. If you really only have 8 days, and want a tour company to handle almost everything, then this is a pretty great route. But just be aware that like a kaiseki Japanese meal (an expensive fancy meal with a large number of tiny dishes), you'll probably finish with the feeling that that was both amazing, and yet in some way lacking. Oh, and this is Japan, where it rains. Sometimes a lot. Give yourself some leeway to work around the weather. If you only have one day in Kyoto, and it's a downpour, that's going to but a big damper on your time there.

Great tips! Actually some of the people who joined this tour stayed after the tour to see more of Japan :) I think it's a great way for people to get use to the country first and feel a little bit more confident about travelling by themselves.

Planning for a trip in 2023. I’d like to go to Kyoto, Osaka, and Tokyo. If I can’t afford go to all 3 I’m going to just Kyoto and will visit the other places some other time. The hardest part for me now is trying to learn Japanese as I’ve never quite been able to learn a second language, but I want to be able to at least understand it decently by the time of my trip.

I think tours are great for tourists who just want to visit a foreign country for their holidays, but not for real Japanese fans. When I went to Japan, what I liked was to just take small streets and discover hidden spots (that's why I started watching your videos!), meet the locals, etc. Personally, I would hate to go on a tour and miss all of those little things that are much more immersive. But some people might find it more suitable for what they're looking for, so it's great that you're doing videos for people with such expectations too ! Good job Angela :D

I truly love and respect the Japanese people all of China to be exact,they are so I novation so creative so so smart, they live a life that is unbelievable, they care for their families and their tradition they absolutely respect their environment which is the most beautiful thing ever, everything is given the alternate care.the achitectured structures are out of this world..the sacred monuments unbelievable. ..the love and respect for one another is what this world needs to prolong our lives on this dying world,,, these special people are what it's all about.they are like a different species entirely I feel really scared and lost when I see the other parts of this world as it is. In comparison to china- Japan. If only we can take a few pages from their book we might just learn or maybe prolong our lives..... no wonder we drop like flies around them... and they in turn live soon long..bless you people.

Too bad the whole wide world isn't like modern day Japan. Manners and tradition count for a lot. Manners and tradition= civility, here.

Yes but you have to know that there are bad side and good side in Japan too. Young people there somewhat crazy people become abnormal due to a crazy amount of work. The average working day is 10 to 12 hrs a day. People get off work around 8-10pm. Wife and husband only see each other once or twice a week.

The problem with tour bus is they only give 30 mins. to explore to each and every destination. Nonetheless is it a good experience.

I figured. And the places seems to be very touristy, getting not much of the local feels. Perhaps free and easy is the better option.

All of those cities in just eight days? While it's a great way to cross off plenty of places in Japan from one's list, it also sounds so tiring. Not to mention still trying to get over jet lag for the first few days of arrival. Then again, for those who do not have a lot of time but want to see as much as possible, this itinerary works.

Sometimes elderly friends and relatives ask me about visiting Japan, this tour looks decent, but I also wonder if the pace might be a bit fast for elderly people. Not as bad as those european coach tours where they do 10 countries in 10 days !!

Ugh, no. You'll hardly have any stories to tell when you come back, except that you were able to go to 10 countries. There's not much else that you can talk about. :-s

Actually I found the pace of the tour just fine. It wasn't tiring because you didn't have to carry your luggage or take the local transportation and worry about the trains. The tour guide gave us enough time to see each location as well but of course if you want to do more shopping I would recommend staying a few days after to do so.

halfthefiber it is not tiring at all considering they're travelling by bus and not train. so they dont have to drag their suitcases at all. it is already taken care of by the tour company. They also dont have to walk from one point to the other point, it is all by bus. If you travel with public transport however, it will be tiring. i travelled from sapporo to osaka within a week, very tiring.
