as a matter of fact, I do have a question that I was trying to find the answer to: we are going to be in Malaga on the last week of February and was wondering if there’s an easy way to go to the entrance of Caminito del rey by public transport independently. Or would you rather recommend a guided tour leaving from and returning to Malaga?
@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal3 ай бұрын
@@herika006 there is a regional train going to el Caminito, but as we haven't been there yet we cannot share many specific details of how it works. You can check the details here www.caminitodelrey.info/en/your-visit/how-to-get We were about to cover the Caminito last year but their ticket cancellation policy, which in our opinion is abusive, made us decide against it. If the Caminito is closed due to bad weather, you won't get a refund for your tickets but just the change to book a different date.

Then leave for Torremolinos for 5 nights and from Torremolinos 1 day trip to Marbella . is it better 2 nights in Granada... is 5 nights in Torremolinos too much.. is there something else( other places in the neighbourhood) more interesting that i am missing. Thanks! Málaga is no different from most Spanish cities, parking for free near the centre of the city if a bit of an act of luck. We haven't got any specific advice. The city centre has 5 public parkings where you can park your car without problem. For having an idea, almost 2 hours with your car parked in one of those parkings can cost you around 3-3,50 €, it depends in wich parking you're going to park, due every parking has his own tariff, anyway, they're very similar and they adjust to the price I told you before. Hi Tony First thank you for your wonderful videos on travelling to Spain. They have been most helpful. I could not find videos on how to buy local bus tickets in Malaga, (and actually also Granada, Cordoba and Seville) on your website(it looks like for most of the travel within these cities we need to use buses) - so was wondering if you could guide on the options to select in English while buying the tickets(similarly to what you do for metro/train tickets). Are there multi day passes that I can buy in each of these cities and can these tickets be bought at Granda, Cordoba and Seville train station or Malaga airport. Lastly do we have to validate card/tickets on both entry and exit of buses (as is needed in some countries like Netherlands). I apologize for asking this general question but could not find any place else to post the question to you. Thanks for your help.

At El Tintero the waiters come to your table. They will show you their offerings for you to decide whether you want them or not. Córdoba is a feasible day trip, although you will have to focus on the basics of the city and will miss the beautifully lit Córdoba at night. Granada is also an option if you take a fast train although, once again, you will miss quite a few places and possibly one of the most beautiful views in Spain, the Alhambra from the Mirador de San Nicolás at sunset.
