La Madre Filipina is already moved back now to its original place in Jones bridge..and baywalk is now under rehabilitation they aready build phase 1 of the white sand beach. A lot of improvements right now. Hope you can visit again once travel becomes easy

Great guide. However, it is important to stress that this is only Manila City and a very small area of it. When people say "Manila" it usually refers to the whole Metropolitan area, and considering the whole region there are a lot more places worth visiting - Makati, BGC and McKinley Hill for shopping, dining street art and nightlife, Binondo Chinatown and Escolta for authentic Chinese food and sights, Quezon City (Memorial Circle, UP Campus, Maginhawa) for greeneries, local food, Entertainment City and Resorts World for fine dining, nightlife, gambling and entertainment, among others.
