What to do in Umbria, Italy

You two are adorable. In Assisi, the same thing happened to me...we tried to go into the upper church and had to go down to the lower level to go in. And no filming inside. Boo hiss. You missed the necropolis in Orvieto...pretty amazing. And we loved Spello, too. When I was there in early June of 2023, there were only a handful of people walking around. We agree that the views were stunning just as you experienced. We are dropping our video on Umbria tomorrow covering a Perugian castle, Assisi, Spello, Spoleto, Orvieto, and Todi. We are going back in May to explore more of Umbria including Perugia. Love the camp stove set up for lunch. Brilliant!

I love your country so much, I have spent a total of a month in 2 trips in the Toscana, mainly in Florence which is bellisima, but I visited Milano, Pietrasanta, Pistoia, Arezzo, Lucca, Pisa and Turin. I have been doing some research on Umbria because it looks like a dream, so I will definitely go there this next time, thank you for your guide to those amazing places!!! Viva Italia!

Umbria is such a beautiful region. I want to see more of it. It is sadly lacking in vegan options though!

It’s so true.. so stunning 😍 But unfortunately very few vegan options.. we saw though that there’s the home vegan restaurant of Emanuele di Biase (a vegan Italian chef) in Tuoro sul Trasimeno (Umbria). We were curious to try it but its opening days did not work with our schedule unfortunately.. but if you’re ever in the area I think it’s worth a try 😋
