First great audio bro.. you definitely have some good story telling and editing skills. Keep up the side grind .. this channel will go somewhere! Avila is an amazing medieval city.. I can tell you did some research. I’m gonna definitely do a video there one day… for other medieval cities in Spain I suggest Cáceres Extremadura, Santillana de Mar (Cantabria) and many places in Cataluña.. doesn’t Spain feel like a game of thrones episode?

Thank you! We appreciate the kind words as we're still learning as we go...Avila was an awesome city and definitely surprised us quite a bit as we didn't know quite what to expect outside fo the wall! And even that blew us away! Thanks for the suggestions! We've never been to any of those places, but they're on our list of places to get to in Spain! Sometimes it does just feel like a Game of Thrones episode and it's simply incredible, especially when compared to more modern buildings of the US.

Heading to Avila in three days and scanning for videos I came upon yours. Excellent narrating; I'd love to see more of you explaining live on the video like you did at 1:11. It's very helpful!

We love the city of Avila, especially being so close to Madrid. We recommend their meats or beans with chorizo as you put in the video. You have one more subscriber! Greetings!

Great video! Putting Avila on my list. In James Michener's book, 'Iberia', about all the regions of Spain he visited during his 40 years of travel, he talks about visiting a distant convent near Avila, no other visitors there, and he's led through a door to a small, dark room, and finally he tells you, this is the room where Queen Isabella was born. Wow, what a surprise. Someday I hope to visit Avila and see that small room for myself. Thanks!

Thank you! And wow! What an incredible story! Looks like we’ll have to go back and maybe see that convent 🤔

I think my favorite view was the gal in the stocking hat!! Defiantly worth the 5 Euro :)

The Leinekugels hat has been a hit so far. Although no one from Spain knows what it is.

Fuera de las murallas están la basílica de San Vicente, románica y el Monasterio de Santo Tomás, con tres claustros, de la época de los Reyes Católicos, s. XV, no hay que perdérselo !

@@MYTravelBF Let me guess. There's the flag of Spain, obviously, and the flag of the US. But in the middle he's including a red X, which maybe wants to depict the Cross of Burgundy, which was more or less the flag of the Spanish Empire from Charles I (of Spain, and V of Germany; 16th century) to Charles III (18th/19th century); it's still in use nowadays in some air forces and was present in King Juan Carlos I's coat of arms. I guess he wants to represent the historical union between Spain and the US through its former territories in North America? Just a guess.

@@manuelgrandeboggio7663 Thank you! That makes sense. I wasn't sure what the red cross in the middle meant.
