What to Do When Bead Holes are Too Small

You've just designed the most gorgeous mala -- but then when you go to string the beads, some of the holes are too small -- ARRGH!! Don't sweat it! All you need is a trusty bead reamer...
Battery-operated bead reamer tools are sold in most bead stores -- but they kinda suck. Save yourself time and money and get these reamer bits for your rotary tool instead:

I love my cordless Dremel 7300-N Mini Mite, but you can snag a basic rotary tool at Harbor Freight for even less.
The one thing you absolutely cannot go without is gem-cutting lubricant. This waxy substance helps reamer bits last longer, keeps the hole cool while you drill, and prevents breakage from overheating.
