I feel just expose that person in front of everyone and do a tally of truth vs fakes! Because it the work, tomorrow he may also take your job and everything you have. What is the point on loosing everything you have to someone who do not even deserve to own that credit. Its not good for us, for the company and overall its bad to everyone. If only credit stealing people survive in a company then the company itself can collapse. So be smart think overall, such people are not only impacting you but also the growth of the organization.

In my view, Pls keep your conversations strictly professional. You certainly don't need to get into friendly zone with such kinds!

@@ManiJain yeas ma'am. It sort of came as a surprise when that person took away my credit and everyone were applauding her. She is currently not making eye contact with me, because she knows WHT she did

My supervisor likes to take ownership and credit for my weeks of hard researched presentations.. After I present, this person talks to the audience as if I m presenting their ideas when in fact, the input is minimal and not evidence based at all: is egoistical enough to tell me we should always share knowledge and credit. I have no problem sharing knowledge furthermore they are systematic reviews of other ppl s ideas and hard work (who of course are credited in the presentations) but it does take loads of personal time and effort.

My case is the operation manager taking my ideas to the directors when they meet without giving me credit … I would be fine if she’s competent and can add to the discussion not just pigging back on my contents as if that were hers. Besides her age being over a decade over than me, she demonstrated she could not handle stress competently and I kept catching her mistakes left and right . Should I including my direct manager who is also a director of the company in all my email exchanges with that sneaky person ?
