Buy enough garden hose(200-300 feet) to reach to your tank and leave the hose across the road and let traffic run over it. Just be sure there are no hose connections on the highway. Buy an extra one to have on hand in case the traffic splits it and return it if not needed.

Did the water spigot end come with it when you rented it or do you have to connect yourself.. If so, what connections did you use and what size meter is that?

Good water supply info. In future you could arrange to have multiple water tanks AND two trailers to set up a water supply rely while the pressure washing is going on. Kudos.

How large is your tank ? How long did it take to fill it with the fire hydrant??

I think the tank is 250 gallons, took about 23 minutes per fill up from empty
