I woke up this morning not knowing what to do. My soul was restless concerned about life circumstances. I begin to meditate and listen to soft music.This was not enough to bring peace to my soul so I typed in the search bar what to do when you don’t know what to do? Pastor Gaines message came up and this message was the peace to my soul. Thank you Pastor Gaines I don’t know when you actually preached this sermon but it was right on time for me. Great message. But please I have a question. Does trusting God mean sitting down and doing nothing ? Does it mean you should wait till you hear a voice to know the next move?

Hey, Abena! Not every situation is the exact same, but we can tell you on a general basis that trusting in God does not necessarily have to be sitting on your hands and waiting for an audible voice to tell you the answer to your problem. Trusting God and seeking His will for your life can often be broken down to keeping up the routine of a Christian life. Pray, spend time in His word, help those around you, examine your own heart and its desires against what you see in the Bible. When we get tired of waiting for God to deliver on His promises or to show us the way, it's possible to make a mistake like Abraham did with his servant, Hagar. That being said, there are times when we have to take a step of faith. This is where your time of prayer and Bible study really pays off. When you are consistently spending time with the Lord, it is usually easier to make those kinds of judgment calls. Hope this helps!

Biblically, this sermon is 100% Biblically sound...IF ONLY he would not use a "version" Bible but the King James Bible instead (God's true and PURE words), it would have been perfect...the versions are changed, missing verses, words change meaning of verses, there is SO much WRONG with them. VERY good sermon though -- God bless you all and I pray that Pastor's grandson is now okay..I went thru this with my youngest son. 5 days not holding him was so HARD! Prayers for Pastor Gaines and his family.
