when i first started out, i was genuinely curious as to why my artist friends sometimes lose the will to draw sporadically and it didn’t occur to me until i stopped drawing every day for a little while 😂. There are so many things to factor in and this video helped me push to draw consistently again and ill definitely share it with those friends

I used to write all the time. It was very disheartening to see interviews with Stephen King saying he would write every single day, except for his birthday and Christmas (and then in other interviews admitting it was a lie. He still writes on those days). But that's what works for him. You gotta create in ways that work for you for your goal. As usual, love your work.

I completely relate!! I always get so stressed out when I hear about authors like Brandon Sanderson who just write nonstop- it’s really hard not to feel like I’m doing something wrong because I can’t be as productive as they are! It always makes me feel a little better to know that for some successful authors, like Mark Twain and Ernest Hemingway, writing was SUCH a struggle! You’re absolutely right that we just have to do what works for us!!
