I am a man, but I watched this out of curiosity. You said a lot of stuff I agreed with. There were 5 times where I thought, "I have to thumb this up", and then realized that I had already done it. I do not think I could have said it better. I knew I wanted to be married when I was 15, but I was not able to do it until I was 30. I'm 31 now.

Thank you for this. Thankfully, I am happily married. I have a different deep longing, that I have been praying for for many years. It is within the will of God. The advice to pray for your future husband, I am going to adapt to praying for my future children. And yes, God cares deeply about the desires of my heart. I am going to pray journal about it. I think that this will be a way for me to express the pain I am feeling into being productive.

I am so grateful! And amen, I remember hearing Leslie and Eric Ludys story and it did that same thing to me. And Scott also has marriage testimony's that encouraged him. It is sooo important to hear these stories of God's faithfulness! God bless you and I can't wait for the day you share your story!

What a beautiful story and testimony, first to those who need to hear it in their singleness, but also for those who are already married and just need a little reminder that God knows our longings and he wants us to tell him our desires and trust Him with directing our paths whether towards our desires or in another direction. Whether married for 1 year, 8 years or about to be 42 years years ☺️ or, maybe not married at all, this is a good reminder to trust in Gods timing for all things in our lives.
