I am not 100%sure about Claw a boy or girl yet. I bought Vicky from different breeder with DNA test to be female . Now Vicky is over 2 years old with clear ring at the neck , proving to be a boy. I just have to wait and see until Claw over 2 years old . You can see my other videos to see the difference and their change when growing up .

How old is yours ? I found that if you have him or her young like months old easier to train . Claw is no longer so aggressive ant more . However our new one Bubble still not allowing us to be close to him . We had him when he was almost 2. Maybe more time can solve it.

This is exactly how my bird is acting now and it’s been going on for 3 months ever since I got him. I’ll have to try this when I get home but thank you much this video really helped me get an idea about what to do about this bluffing stage since he’s been drawing blood. He’s the same color and was about 5 months when we got him, now he’s 7 months and the behavior continues. If u had anymore advice that would be really helpful! Thank you!
@birdclawslife4027 Жыл бұрын
Glad to hear that this video helped you ! 5 month old is a good time to start . When we had Claw he was 4 months old. I figure it out that patience and more time with each other to build the trust are the keys . Try as much as hand feeding as you can .

I have full confidence in my ability with all kinds of birds, but I have to admit I'm not sure my patients could handle the whole Bluff stage with a ringneck not knowing how long it's going to go on even though they seem to be one of the most personable and charismatic birds out there once you get past that part. I've known people that said it went on for just a couple of months and others that said it went on for a year

That is the very right way to get along with your birds. Vicky now has been with us for 3months. She spent her last two years in the small cage . Now she will come to have dinner with us with distance 10cm. That is quite big progress. Building trust does take time.
