What to do with my Splinterlands Mid-Level Account?

I discuss various points about it to give new players perspective on growing their account. I then spend some Glint in an effort to improve the deck with the new rewards cards.

I've been running wild around mid diamond. The sps is low, but the glint is much better than I was getting in modern.

I know you follow how my accounts are doing. My main is in diamond wild, my $10 account and 3rd accounts are in modern bronze Once I get my third account commons to level 3 I will move onto rares My $10 account will get level 4 commons, then rares My main is level 5-6 commons then level4-5 rares Debating on how to spend my end of season glint. Will definitely get a few epics on my main Thanks for the update! Keep on forging!

Yes, I have followed your accounts when I see you post an update. I think its a sound strategy. I will mostly stay with commons and rares in my secondary account with a few epics a season. On my primary, I will dip into the legendaries, but they are so pricey.

Its fun to follow ur accounts ,free one is obv cool. I got my main at 200k sps in champ 3 ish in wild and i am also not interested in pricy legendary draws. Im thinking 3 other draws and 2nd lvl chests. What do you think about that strat? I make like 200k glint through season

Btw about ur strat gathering i agree. I think one can do just fine ignoring legendaries. And at the end if one has glint and wants some legs its so pricey one will probably never buy up 1st batch for most ppl.

I have a mid-level account and was playing in Silver. When the team removed the league level cap it ruined the game for me. I keep on losing against players with higher level and/or maxed cards. I think new players will have the same frustration. Adding to that frustration, you got to have staked SPS to get enough GLINTs and SPS.

I agree. I see both sides of the argument, however, I kinda fall in the same boat as your opinion, in that, I liked to have the league levels and you could tailor a deck to battle in a certain league. I also agree that there are several hurdles that need to be smoothed out to make the game more attractive to new players. Thanks.

What about talking tokenomics? We had 14.000.000 shard and ots the first game where Tokens are deflationary last year (2.600.000 left, yes it's possible that it risks again, bit printing is depending on active players and their equipment. ) Only game I've seen with that good future (because sps has fixed print amount... so it's inflationary for next 5 years, no matter if more people join or leave... it's not good... GO covers the demand/print ratio) Thanks for taking time to answered me and maybe reading this. I am from Germany, so unluckily i cant join your live... but no one even sees this, and there is no content creator talking about this.

I think for mid-level account players like me, the only enjoyable way (profitable? maybe) to play Splinterlands is to RENT. Rent maxed cards, they are pretty cheap. A maxed deck with all CL and CL Reward cards is around 2K DEC rent for 2 days. Rent some SPS. 50K SPS is around 1000DEC for 7 days. This will somehow give some ample amount of SPS and Glints. Worst case is you will just break even. At least for me that is.

Understood and I agree that renting is a very viable strategy. I don't talk about it much because I don't have much experience with the whole evolution of renting and find it tedious. However, since they released the set rentals, this probably has made it much easier. Thanks for the input.

@@Bronzedrag0n_Gaming I haven't tried Set Rentals yet. It is intended for low-level or new players. What I do is, I created a deck in Peakmonsters and rent it every 2 days. This removes the tedious task of choosing your cards everytime you rent. It is like Set Rentals but more advanced.

I lost faith in Splinterlands as a game when they started charging for the wild league - I'd played for years (before Untamed) and had a really nice collection but I'm a casual player and the new wild structure is geared towards bots - hell they should just call it the bot league. Sold off most of my good cards, play a little in modern but have no incentive to buy any cards now as they have no long term value or playability, once they rotate into wild I can't play them and their value plumits so.... just not worth it. Havn't bothered to cash in my glint since the switch to the new reward cards came out - havn't even really looked at what they are. (shrug) That plus the removal of league struture means new players just get creamed by people with maxed out decks when they hit silver.... It's not really a game anymore - it's a front end to an investment tool, they should just put in game bots in there and remove the 3rd party services and be honest about it. Used to be a good game - don't wish it any ill but they've pretty much driven me and a lot of others like me out of the "game"

Hi, yes. I am still playing and our guild is doing quite well. I haven't done much coverage of it lately. It seems that he has several ideas for the future of development of the game and he is kind of jumping around from idea to idea without focus. The Conquest mode is interesting but I haven't had much luck with it and don't have enough strategy down to make a video on it. I will get back to it though when I can come up with a good topic to cover related to the game. Thanks.
