When you have blanc december pages left, you can Use them to plan your Christmas preps such as, meal planning, gifts to buy, shopping to do for family visits and put them in your every day planner. You can do the same with july and August to plan trips or make a travelers journal. Or when you mess a page up, you can put an old page there instead.

I keep them in a book shelf even the ones I use, I see them as some sort of diary as it has my life story pretty much and to go back to see what I did on that time and how I have decorated them 👍

You can used your planner cover for a summer reading checklist: drawings that you want to keep , used it to keep coloring pages, or office binder

Re date them especially so that you don’t have to purchase a new planner. Cut the pages in half and use them as bullet journal half sheets, use the unused pages for note taking. Hey I’m creative so, there is no way I would just not use them.

I have also found that old pages are perfect to use for your sticker books!! I used an old classic planner for this specifically. The pages that were blank, I simply folded down to the size that I wanted for my sticker book, and used them to glue my sticker pages to when I used up all my sticker inserts. They ended up being the perfect thickness once they were folded!!

I got a outdated happy planner for $7.99 from their site, 3 memory sticker books that was also on sale and just re-dated for 2021. I had 3 days empty at the end of November so I'm just gonna use that for Christmas list.

I have to laugh because I am watching this as I repurposing old clearance planners into my work planner! I don't like redating the months. So I find what month had the same date set up (1st is Monday etc) then white out the month and year and any holidays for that month and put the ones I'm looking for. Since I created sheets specifically for my job, I just glue those to the weekly plans. So far I'm loving it! #MegansPlans

I’ve always wondered how people store used Happy Planners. I have literally just put them on my cheap black discs or in a gallon zip bag. I’m still trying to figure out how to make the pages into an actual book, because it’s our busy little life story😊. I didn’t realize that anyone would buy my used HP😳! I tend turn extra pages in to inserts, or crafts. you can even use the monthly dividers are scrap book paper or as extra dividers in your new planner just cover up the tab.

I pick up outdated planners from the clearance bins. Sometimes I make them into a Monthr-at-a-Glance planner for the coming year, so I can plan out blocks of time for vacations, weddings, conferences, conventions and other events that I know well in advance. To convert a Monthly-Weekly planner to Month-at-a-Glance, for every month you keep the two facing pages of the monthly calendar, and then you keep the last page of the weekly pages (the one where the back is the overview for the new month. So, now you have the heavy divider pages. Between the divider pages you have 2 pages, but you only want to look at one side of each. Use a tape funner and stick those two pages back to back. Now you have a hacked, double-thick page with 1/2 of the monthly calendar on one side, and the overview for the new month on the other side. The weekly view pages that were removed can be hacked with stickers and strips of Washi to cover up day/date labels, and can be used for notes or for making your own custom pages. Sometimes I convert them into half sheets, and use them to make sticker books. The possibilities are endless!

Lots of people will Franken plan with the old used planners that have “life” left. Maybe they don’t like the colors in the one they are using so they tape the backs together change the dates and create their weekly layout. There are tons of things you can do with old planners.

I'm in my 2nd HP and I'm keeping last yrs used pages so that I can reference important dates/activities. The unused pages I'm going to keep in case I need to cover a bad mistake or just want a change {if that makes sense}.

After I pull out the pages I want to archive, I stack them and then wrap them with a couple strips of washi tape. It keeps them together and compact, but if I ever decide to go back through the pages, the washi peels off easily. I have tons of washi. I keep discs, and reuse them for making notebooks and sticker books.

At the beginning of 2018, I decided to go back to college and finish my bachelors. One of my text books was an ebook. I found myself printing off those pages and creating a Happy Planner disc like notebook for that entire first quarter!! I actually rather enjoyed it. I see it now a days, and I think of all the endless possibilities that I can do with discs and disc bound books!! Especially if they are on metal discs!

Last year they started selling a high-end disc bound notebook system by Tul at Staples. Last week, I saw disc bound notebooks in with the office supplies at WalMart. I have the HP punch, and I love making custom notebooks. Last week I took my favorite Studio G notepad and used it to make a notebook for an upcoming trip. The paper was only pretty on one side, and thin, so I glued sheets together back to back before punching. When I'm done with the book, I'll pull those rings for the next project!

Kind of what I did with a planner I bought last year to use for work and ended up not liking it, so I turned it into a memory planner for my weight loss and just changed the numbers on the top and now I’m using it instead of it going to waste.

Hey Megan! Thank yoiu Thank you Thank you for this video!! I have realized that I have been thinking about this question specifically... "Now that I have planners completed or, out dated, What do I do with them now?" There are times that pieces of these planners can be expensive in different durations of our lives. For instance, I have invested into many aspects of the happy planner for the last six years! Of course, I have learned alot about myself and my planning tendencies, and I have spent thousand of dollars in to this part of my life over that time frame. Now that I am unemployed, I find myself wanting to still go out and get some of the new, cool things released! Yet, I know, that would not be the best option for me in my life currenty. Lately, I have recently turned three firends of mine, onto the happy planner and just the MAMBI community in general. I actually enjoy watching them come over and simpy get lost into all the things that I have! I find myself a little envious of them at times too... I think, "man, if I had me and all this stuff to play with back when I first started, maybe it wouldn't have taken me as long to figure all this out!" But of course, that thought doesn't seem to last long either, because I absolutely love watching and helping them out along the way! I love watching them grow! So, I do not regret anything that I have done, because of course, if I in fact, had me in the beginning... I wouldn't be able to help my friends now! Currently, I have been storing my past, old planners on my bookshelf. Yet, lately, I have been thinking of pulling them out and pulling them apart. With my friends coming over and coming thru my supply, I see it dwindling down so rapidly now. While the old planners, not all of them are completely full, I absolutely love the idea of pulling them off their rings and clipping them together; giving access to all the covers and extra rings!! I also love the advice of going through the old planners, and simply using washi tape cover up the dates and then redoing it to your own liking! One of my friends, started out making a scrapbook picture album from alot of my stuff. It was quite interesting to watch her use many of the things I have to create this beautiful book. Some of the things that she has done, amazes me, because I never would have thought to use it in such a way as she has. I think it is funny at times, when we see certain tools being used in a specific way, we rarely think out side of the box to use them in other useful ways! With that realization noticed, and thankfully I noticed it early on, I find myself not critiquing as much as perhaps I might have. I simply just grant her access and of course when I see her getting stuck, I would then provide uses or simply probe a little thru questioning with something like, 'what is the function that you are looking for? What are you wanting it to do or help you to complete?' That alone, seems to give me the best answers I need in order to provide new tools for her to check out!! I absolutely love it!! Now, she is wanting to create her own BIG planner, primarily used for budgeting and their financials. With the BIG planner still relatively new to MAMBI and simply, not as profiting as the other two sizes, their choices are not as fulfilling as, for instance, the classic size planners. I have a couple of years worth of the BIG planners not completely filled, mostly because that was when I was still trying to figure out what worked and what didn't work for me... Yet, when I try and suggest reusing some of these pages, I see that they are easily overwhelmed. But, with your advice, it kinda gave me the best inspiration to attempt to add to my collection! I can still pull those pages, and washi tape the dates to cover them up. I think it might even be best to go ahead and cover up the days of the week as well! Then to go back and stamp back in Monday thru Sunday. That way, when they go through the inserts again, they can see how the old pages can still be repurposed! Thank you again for sharing this video! Oh, by the way, I absolutely love your squirrel!! I think it is a very humorous way of showing grace for getting over excited in trying to share what you have learned!! I find myself doing the exact same thing as well!!

I have a recollections planner with similar drawings of a little doll in each month with a tab. Its so expired lol but i would love to re use those pages. I was wondering if there was a way to remove the tabs without damaging the paper, maybe using un-do? What do u think? Have you ever used un-do?

I have a mini that I use for an errand planner. I use inserts to keep track of my shopping lists. And attach note pages to keep up with things that I only have to a few times a year. I found a zipper bag punched for the arc system and keep loyalty cards, coupons, etc in it. I have a travelers notebook cover that fits it perfectly to protect it and provide a pocket to slip papers I might need while I am out.

My advice, don't limit yourself!! And sometimes, what will help you the most, is thinking of the ways you can see your planner functioning for you!! The possibilities are simply endless!! At the same time, try to keep it simple in the beginning, it is very easy to get overloaded with all the possibilities that ARE out there!! I easily was the type that thought it all looked cool and I wanted to do it all... but I easily got overwhelmed with all it... I honestly made my journey with my planner harder on me, and even harder to find myself back in it again. I feel like now, and years later, I have found a use that simply works for me! Which of course, leaves so many materials unused and up for grabs... but I am okay with that too, because I have friends that are just now finding out their own uses for a planner and what their wants are... so they are able to use up what I have not been able to use!!
