I guess people would call you a hipster but to me you just look like a really happy person when you're wearing clothes you enjoy. I've always been impressed by Martina's sense of style, but you Simon have really changed and experimented I guess with the colors and patterns you wear, and I gotta say I love what you wear now and the confidence you seem to have more of. That's because Japan, like any country, isn't a monolith. There are super rural areas & super tourist packed international cities, like Tokyo. Kyoto has a VERY different vibe, like SoCal vs NYC. Kyoto prizes itself on its history & heritage.

I just love you two. I was telling a friend about you yesterday about how I admire your relationship. I've wanted to get married and have a family my whole life and now that I'm 27 and starting to figure out who I am as a person and what I want I've been really afraid of marriage because I haven't had many good examples of success recently. I loved your simple but real message about the hard work and the choices that are made when it comes to loving someone. Culture romanticizes things so much that we gain an unhealthy expectation of what love is like and seeing the two of you as best friends who constantly choose to put the other one first has reminded me of what I really do want - to marry a best friend. So thank you for being unabashedly you. Thank you for being a driving force for love and individuality and showing that they can exist in the same sphere. Thank you for showing me real love, and I mean real love, not Disney magic love, because it makes me feel like some day I could find someone that makes marriage seem less scary.
