What to eat in the Outer Banks, North Carolina? OBX foods you need to try!

The Outer Banks have miles and miles and miles of amazing beaches stretching in every direction. But, after a long day walking in the sand and splashing in the waves, you are going to get hungry. In this video, I'll show you some of the great OBX foods that you should make sure to try when you are visiting. Because you are never very far from the water, these foods definitely have a seafood focus. I'll tell you about five great things you need to try when you're there: Hatteras-style crab cakes, Hatteras-style clam chowder, fresh local seafood, Eastern North Carolina BBQ, and Cheerwine. The Outer Banks are a huge area, but you shouldn't have any trouble finding these foods at a bunch of different restaurants.

The one we went to that was right by the water and had a lot of local seafood options was Basnight's Lone Cedar Cafe.
