What to EXPECT At Folly Beach?

In this video we visit Folly Beach just outside of Charleston, South Carolina. Also we grab a quick bite at one of the local restaurants called The Lost Dog which I highly recommend you checking out.
After eating we take a walk on the Folly Pier and then hit up the beach to see multiple dolphins swimming right up next to the beach. Needless to say we had a great!
I will be back to Folly Beach sometime, it was a really nice beach!

The lost dog is a great place to eat! Me and my woman eat there twice in 10 years, Folly beach was a favorite of ours, nothing but good memories. The lost Dog is the best place to eat breakfast and probably lunch as well but down the road a little is a place where you can get organic hot dogs and hamburgers a dollar each with whatever you want to put on it, we loved it. You can actually eat for days there that cheap if you even find the store, hint, it's vary close to main street near the tides hotel. I have spent 3 days at the tides and the pool and bar are great.

Honestly I preferred Tybee but both are nice. I love both cities also, you will have a wonderful time.

I went at the end of March and it was fine, but In June or July I would say it would be a bit humid.

Not really sure what affordable is, but recommend checking out an outlet like Priceline and find your price point. A travel hack if possible is booking your trip Mondays through Fridays to get the best bang for your buck.

No I spent 3 days at the tides and it was over $500 but that was 14 years ago.

If you ever stay in a beach house here you will quickly notice the island is infested with rats. If you are outside your beach house in the evening its like being in a horror movie. Huge brown rats are everywhere. I have never seen anything like it.

Thanks for the warning, I didn't stay the night at the beach. Hopefully that's an isolated intendent I really dislike rats 😂
