I was there in late October. The crowds were light and there were parking spots so we decided to check it out. It was nice but there are other ones just like it. But the cool part was seeing a mama bear and her two cubs slowly moving down the mountain almost parallel to us 50 feet away. They paid us no attention and kept their distance....as did we.

You have no idea what a great zoo is. Even if you’re in the wild, you don’t see animals constantly. Your reel is much too short to see this zoo in it entirety Best attraction in St. Louis. If you like animals.

Lots of free parking spaces around the zoo. Any time you can't find a critter inside, they are often in the outside enclosure or vice versa. They allow you to bring in coolers and picnic baskets etc to eat your own food rather than buying from them. It's the best zoo ever. So many little gifts for kids too. The day we were there they hid toys in the pretend logs.

You had a great experience with elk being so close. They are (usually) fine, but if you get too close, they will get mean haha. Awesome you got to get so close. They were not planted, they are just used to humans. Others, might get a bit mean.

Yeah it was a great experience. I made sure not to come up on them and respect their space.

Dont give up brother. You're an awesome down to earth genuine person and if i can feel that thousands of others will to. You're very informative and have great energy that doesn't feel cringey to listen to. You just need to crank out as many vids as possible. Even when you're not at vacation spots. Try to find ideas for filler videos so u can push out at least 2 or 3 a week. Just keep doing what you love. ❤
@mikeunlocked11 ай бұрын
Thanks for the advice and encouragement. I agree the hardest part is some of the filler videos I have of locations I haven't released are some of the coolest hidden gems but they tend to be dead on arrival to the algorithm. Trying to tell people they should check out a location they never heard of in a title and thumbnail can be a challenge. I am so grateful for the kind words needed it!

Thank you for making all these videos. My kids are 9 and 11 and have NEVER been to the beach. My step daughter is 17 she will be coming as well and has been before. Im 37 and haven't been since i was like 19. Ive got a bad back though and hate long trips so Folly was the closest at about 5hr 45min. I'd like to stay at a resort preferably i do believe, hoping there will be plenty of fun activities to do, shop, and eat within walking distance. With the age gaps of the kids going and then also me and my wife would like to have some adult fun also, i need a place that has a variety of things fit for all ages. So all that being said WHERE DO YOU RECCOMEND WE GO? Taking into consideration nothing over 6 and half hr drive from Tri-Cities, TN. Also how expensive, things to do, etc.... factoring in everything. Where is the best place to go???🤔🤔🤔🤔
@mikeunlocked11 ай бұрын
Ironically mine are close to the same age, I wouldn't undermine children's excitement for exploring historical sites in the area of Charleston. Also since you would be in the area, we found the Charleston Museum fun. If you haven't watched my sailboat video check it out, great for dolphin watching for the kids and relaxing with a drink or two for the adults. Most of these activities are within driving distance of Folly with only a 14 mile drive. Folly and Charleston has plenty for both kids and adults.

The lost dog is a great place to eat! Me and my woman eat there twice in 10 years, Folly beach was a favorite of ours, nothing but good memories. The lost Dog is the best place to eat breakfast and probably lunch as well but down the road a little is a place where you can get organic hot dogs and hamburgers a dollar each with whatever you want to put on it, we loved it. You can actually eat for days there that cheap if you even find the store, hint, it's vary close to main street near the tides hotel. I have spent 3 days at the tides and the pool and bar are great.

Bubba's is so good! First time I ate their would have been one of the best days of my life. Mine looks a bit different than the one you went too. If you ever go back you need to get their Fire Fries (which is fries with a bit of spice added into them.) and their cheesecake. I'm glad you enjoyed your meal! :)

Tybee is great! Yes, you can drink on the beach, just not in glass bottles. A cooler is always a good idea, even if it's just for soda's or water. There are tons of shops, cafe's, restaurants and ice cream places and of course, bars. The beach is always clean. A word of warning.....NO PETS ALLOWED.....it's a $500 fine and they will not you slide! The Tybee police are wonderful and very chilled but they do follow the rules! The water is a bit cooler in March but as you can see, there's a lot of people in the ocean, so Mike might be a bit of a whimp :-) There's also a very nice live theater......The Tybee Post, which is always a nice way to end the evening. There's lots to see and do on Tybee but whatever you do......DON"T SPEED! They take they're traffic laws very seriously!!

If you want THE BEST seafood along with other items on the menu go to “Low Country Fish Camp” in Summerville, SC. I promise you’ll get more than you can eat on your platter and the best cooked food anywhere around. Highly recommended this to anyone who loves seafood. Our favorite and only place we go.

Cool to see the beach from the pier! I recently released this song that takes place in Savannah, Savannah-Hannah, and Tybee Island is quite an important part. I am working on an animated music video for it, and I think that view really helps me see what the beach looks like there. So thank you Mike!

Not really sure what affordable is, but recommend checking out an outlet like Priceline and find your price point. A travel hack if possible is booking your trip Mondays through Fridays to get the best bang for your buck.
