I have a question, are you able to cook your own food at USF? I plan on transferring there my junior year and I know how to cook so I won’t worry too much about the meal plans (I’ll still take advantage of it though) like that. I’m just wondering if we are allowed to do meals that we do at home since this is at a University and I know they have safety hazards when it comes to that. Also is getting to class far from the dorms? I go to a community college and getting to classes are a struggle so I can imagine what it’s like at a university 😭. And last question, how are the events like at USF? Is it lit?

Leslie Isidro Housing is really strict, so once you tell them you need a new key, they make you pay for everything. And the keys are non-copyable, so places won't let you do it :(

I'm gonna apply to USF when I gain enough credits from my current school to be able to transfer. I'm doing online school currently at Florida Institute of Technology but I wanna live in Tampa because my boyfriend is gonna be going to USF when he finishes his Associate's degree. Anyways, I was wondering if he and I would be able to be roommates when we both attend USF? We are both guys so any gender separation policies wouldn't affect us. Are you allowed to pick your roommate or are they assigned to you by the school? Thanks!
