In addition to this: Interrogate people, like in Chaos Theory, with fun answers for opponents in the grip. Possibility to be completely in the shade Possibility to play through completely without killing.

I've never played Splinter Cell, think way back in the day I would just stare at demo Xbox consoles in stores and dream about having one while playing COD. This looks more stealth and up close than those to be honest.

I want Hitman style open levels. Or like MGS Ground Zeroes where every level is a playground. You have the AO, you have your targets and objectives, finish the mission the best you can. Maybe you can enter the level in civilian clothes and have your equipment be dropped off in a parking garage or on a roof of something. Before each mission you can look at a tacmap and select dropoff and infiltration points. Decide to zipline through a window, find an air shaft, sneak into the back of a truck, snipe guards out front before going in, or just go in the front door.

recently have been playing through chaos theory first splinter cell game I actually beat was blacklist but it doesn't feel like the old games even if you are in pitch black darkness in blacklist you can get spotted so easily its dumb while in chaos theory they only see you if you actually go into the light or make too much noise plus in blacklist sam fisher moves like hes a super soldier when hes an old man

I've forever been a fan of the Splinter Cell Series, as well as my Dad. We'd spend hours sneaking around, trying to do 100% stealth playthroughs ... and I've been DYING to see a revival/return of this Franchise! Whether it's a remake of the original (which I would welcome) or if it's another sequel, Sam Fisher NEEDS to make a well-overdue return!! Imagine adding a mode where being detected counts as a Mission Fail!? I think THAT would take the franchise in a positive direction, especially for us Content Creators always looking for new ways to play things! Great video, mate!

I have near to zero hope that a new Splinter cell will be good. After the lackluster Ghost Recon games, shoehorned RPG mechanics, and boiling down open world formula I just don't think they can make a good stealth game.

A proper multiplayer mode would be so sick, as long as it doesn't detract from the single player (But maybe I'm biased since I loved Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, rip MGS franchise btw)

Retire Sam from the field and let Isaac Bridges be the new field agent. Sam can be the new Lambert and run the unit. Agree on pretty much everything but Hard Mode. Don't limit us to just knife and paassive gadgets. Let us have a realistic loadout (instead of 10 ammo clips for each weapon), minimum health (1-hit kill maybe), etc...kinda like Ghost Mode on "Ghost Recon: Breakpoint".

@@QuantumProtocol They could make face animations in old way. But no. They will keep making that fancy stuff like superb animations and other things just to be trendy or something. UBI dont see so people still prefer to play old games than new ones ?

Chaos theory is the best game of the series ever made You can forget about SC now,Ubisoft just don't want to work anymore Blacklist is fancy and all that sht but it looks so damn easy and arcade as hell.
@NICK-mv2el3 ай бұрын
Chaos theory is old hat now ,it was good and enough 20 years ago now audiences want a guy who has a plan B when things get out of hand Blacklist was good , and if we'd had an A.I. similar to The last of us part 2 or Intravenous it would've been perfect
@RalphMayers3 ай бұрын
@@NICK-mv2el absolutely (about AI from Last of us),but blacklist is buggy and glitchy as hell bro,believe me. And about chaos theory-it looks absolutely fantastic even today in 2024 despite being released in 2005.This game was created with love soul and a huge attention to details. Blacklist has more dynamic gameplay takedowns are amazing etc etc But it is played really easy and it looks so arcade and simplified,that's what i don't like at all.

Splinter cell has been one of my favorite games since the release of the first one years ago. I actually thought they did quite well with blacklist. There was actually a lot to like about the game, but as always there were things that could be improved. This was never made more apparent till after I played the last MGS game. I spent 100 hours in that game lost in its world. I didnt care much for the story as MGS games have always been weird, but as much as I hate to say it, that game was the ultimate in stealth game genre. I played the game in spite of some of its jank and super natural mumbo jumbo story. The emergent gameplay and the way you could open endedly approach each scenario is unmatched in the genre. It reminded me of planning in the old rainbow six games. If you took your time you could scout the encampments and towns and in real time plan your infiltration. The best part though was the ability to adjust on the fly and have to adapt to changing circumstances, because everyone knows no mission ever goes perfectly to plan. And the game allowing for you to make adjustments or fight your way out of a flaw in execution or planning was icing on the cake. Ubisoft has the ability to make a splinter cell game that does what the last MGS game did and do it better, without all the supernatural, unrealistic story in the mix. They could make it an open world game, but not a by the numbers traditional UBIsoft open world. They could innovate and pull from what clearly works in other games like MGS. They would have to focus on purposeful movement through the game world led by a narrative that gave the world meaning and purpose. If its just a map with check points and points of interest for you to check off a list... then yes I would rather a more traditional splinter cell experience that is better crafted. But if they could design 100s of locations with great AI for you to have to plan and approach for infiltration with open world in between I am all for it.
