Awesome video man! I also really liked "How to turn like a boss"! Did you purchase specific track insurance? Any recommendations? I will soon be going to the track for my first time too.

Thank you!! And I did not, I actually haven’t even looked into track insurance. When I went there weren’t any crashes though, other than a couple people driving off track... including me 😉 have fun man!

Do you have roll bar in your Miata? If not, I guess they allow that?

I’m still running the stock “roll bar”. The group ExtremeSpeed that hosted the track event was lenient and said that it was fine, but this was the only group I have tracked it with. I will probably have to get an aftermarket roll bar for other tracks though. Also, they said that other tracks might require that the top of your helmet be below an imaginary line from the top of the roll bar to the top of your windshield.

trust me friend your loosing easily 1.3 seconds around that bowl, ik it can be scary but that incline plus hard braking absolutely stops you so hard, my 350z hr which ive gotten a 1. 26.9 with pulls alot of G's breaking hard into it, also its a miata super nimble and know for all wheel drifting so dont be afraid of just throwing it in unless you need more knowledge on how to countersteer faster and such

Wow that’s a great lap time! And I knew I could, it’s just a matter of me actually doing it haha, but next time I’m def going to try to keep some more speed through there. I also have to work on my lines through there.
