I might be in the minority here, but as someone who is incredibly nostalgic focused and not very much interested in BR since maybe early Chapter 2, OG Fortnite is everything I could have hoped for. I want all the Chapter 1 Season 1, 2, 3 shop skin releases, OG passes. This return is all I could have hoped for! I have archived all skins, back blings, pick axes in my inventory that aren’t the first three seasons. So happy to be reliving my 2017/2018 memories!

They messed this up so much bruh. Fortnite literally released in the early fall of 2017. Then season 2 dropped right in time for Xmas time. It was THE christmas update. Bushes has christmas lights, the lobby was Christmas themed, everything. They could have released OG as a mode a few months earlier and had Season 2 release at Christmas time. This doesn’t feel like OG because of that man. I miss that season 2 xmas lobby so much. However I am having fun tho, I’m excited to get into Tilted again.

wouldn't they just reuse the old battle pass I'd assume they only remastered only for season 1 as it didn't necessarily have a pass I also wouldn't count the season shop as a pass because everything there you had to buy separately, either way nothing in Fortnite is exclusive anymore given the season shop skins came out in the item shop, so there is a solid chance they will reuse the old battle passes. personally, this is my take on it If they are sticking to their word by saying everything will be like Og or be how it was back then it makes sense that there will not be remixes for the skins for the Og pass. Each season is 2 months so there is always enough time to finish the passes as back then bonus styles for omega for example was unlocked through quests. let me know if someone disagrees with me, I'd like to know your perspective on it.

og movement needs to come back, same with the og challenges menu that you can view in the lobby to the left. they also need to change the med kit and bandage healing animations. they’re still the same as regular battle royale. i’m sure there is a lot more. but i think season 2 will come with fixes to the map, and changes to UI, possibly. but i definitely have a feeling that fixes will be coming with the update.

Honestly, in my opinion, they should bring back LTM's such as sniper shoutouts and others from when they were added to the game because they made such a big part in fortnite back then. Alson, personal opinion but they should, for Fortnite OG, maybe bring back the old menu and pretty much everything that was there back then. I think it would be a big change but maybe adding an other mode for it would make the game so much more amusing for players that played in tat time and maybe even newer players who might like it ! I have fun with OG and I love it so much and I appreciate it a lot. However, it kinda feels like a UEFN map. It would've been doing so much better if they actually did EVERYTHING OG and not some things. Like you said, OG movement is a reason people aren't playing it but the main reason I don't play it too much is actually because of things like the OG helathbar, 100% of the OG models, and the OG animations like Shields, Meds, ETC. If they went full out and made a whole new mode for it like STW where it's basically it's own game but you still have all your cosmetics it would go insane. If they brought back tiers, the rarities of your cosmetics, and just everything that was in OG fortnite, it would go absolutely insane and it's kinda a shame fortnite isn't doing that. Like I see why they wouldn't bring a whole new game type thing like STW but they should at least bring back the OG healthbar and all of that stuff. It just doesn't feel like OG and more of a UEFN map. It's still really early so hopefully they'll make some changes.

honestly bro it makes sense that they would take double pump back out for season 3 since that's when it was originally taken out but i hope they keep it bc of the backlash they got when it originally got taken out. it never was an unfair advantage in my opinion bc it wasn't the easiest for everyone to learn so when more new players started to play later in chapter 1 they complained about how double pump was way too op ( i don't believe it was ever too op )

I personally think it'll be only 3-4 akins, taking into fact Fortnite said each OG pass would be only a month long. I do not think Fortnite will be doing a full OG Battle Pass, because I have no idea how causal gamers are supposed to gain 100 levels in the span of a month. Plus it would have Fortnite designers have to work faster because they would have to make 7 skins based off older ones but with a distinque uniqueness, when they already have to design future skins for other Pass's and shop skins.

the og pass is basically confirmed not coming back. For one we have the tweet of them specifically mentioning only future battle passes having the ability to rerelease. Pretty sure they wouldn't have said that for no reason. Also I don't know why people keep talking about renegade raider as if it was a battle pass skin. battle passes and season exclusives are two different things. Notice how the rengade came back but not the Mako glider. Hmm if they were bringing back seasonal cosmetics where was the season 1 mako glider? Think about it. With the release of thecoming seasons we can expect a bunch of old cosmetics that released only in its respective season that are not locked behind a battle pass. You have to understand if epic was to just completely rerelease the chapter 1 battle passes then they would have to do the same for every battle pass they've ever released and as stated in that tweet they'll only be rereleasing future battle pass cosmetics clarifying that anything before that time will stay exclusive. Plus another thing people don't realize is that in the early stages of fortnite epic faced a lot of controversy and lawsuits because of some of their poor decisions which they've since learned from. And being a multi billion dollar company they're very unlikely to make the same mistakes. The floss is an example of an emote that had legal troubles surrounding it but its locked behind the battle pass so its not like it can ever release again. Fresh is a similar story but that's a topic for another conversation. Im not denying that starter packs and other season exclusive cosmetics wont return but I think people are getting too ahead of themselves after seeing last months item shop. Lets not get any crazy ideas guys for the coming seasons were just gonna get reskins of seasonal cosmetics like we've seen before and may even see some originals as well. the battle passes are a no no especially since epic games is already facing a 200 million dollar lawsuit. I'm sure they've thought about this already and its too risky to rerelease battle passes especially at this point in time. If you don't realize it by now Epic built their entire game based on exclusivity which is part of why the game grew as popular as it has and why most people bought the the cosmetics they did. While epic loves to claim that they're removing exclusivity, they still use exclusivity tactics with their cosmetics to entice people to buy them when they rerelease. its true. And for people saying fortnite needs money. Your right. They do. But fortnite is a multi billion dollar game with tons of hype around them already, I'm sure they'll figure it out lol. Its not like the season 2 of pass wont do millions of sales by itself especially if the skins are good. On top of that they have other cosmetics they can rerelease that are in high demand that will actually make them way more than rereleasing a battle pass. Kratos, travis scott, jinx these skins alone would make them at least half of their money back upon release. And lets be honest most people don't even really care for the old battle passes anyways. Majority of players want them to bring back collab skins they missed and you cannot tell me black knight is in higher demand than travis scott. Also don't know if I mentioned this earlier but hypothetically if they were to rerelease battle passes it would completely ruin they're sales of future battle passes more than they've already ruined it for themselves with these new policies they came up with. Only time will tell and well see what they do come the end of the month but I'm open to debate about it till then. Theres just soo many reasons why they wouldn't do that. I keep seeing people give everyone false hope about these cosmetics man but I just wanted to share my thoughts on it. (Also no game in the history of games has ever brought back a battle pass so keep that in mind also) sorry for the long paragraph lol.

I started fortnite in chap 1 season 2 and played everyday until 5 days later I literally broke away from fortnite health Matters and when you realize it's better games than fortnite and it's so much more to life than fortnite you guys wouldn't even want to play as much as me and others did it will never be the same I literally seen everything they brought in fortnite I'm mentally drained from playing so much hope the game can keep going for years I can see myself returning in a few years if they are still here
