Oh I’m glad, hopefully that will be in the full release too! Ironically I have no issue with combat or running away from things, its just that it was spiders specifically 😅

I think the professions and luma eggs are how I'm gonna rope my husband into playing with me 🤭 He's very much over farming games, which I totally understand, but this gives so many options for gameplay! I'm so excited!

I showed my partner the cars in town to convince him. Didn't work. Then I had a dying spree in the mine and after losing my loot several times in a row, neither was I wanting to play anymore. Not for us.

@@Firise oh no that's unfortunate! I think i saw someone mention that there will be a cozy mode, maybe that will remove the spiders? I'm not 100% sure though Edit: just saw K's pinned comment lol. if you guys still want to give it a try maybe that will help? it's ok if it's not your cup of tea though!

Yes! There’s a cozy mode now where you don’t have to worry about things like that. You won’t risk dying in the mines or the spiders!

I'm glad to hear they're working on the map. It was one of the things that was a (small) negative in the game for me. I must have missed the pop up about the bag being your storage as well. I'd rather have an infinite chest, personally, as I just don't like full bags, especially when some items have to be in the action bar part of it in order to be used and I was still rearranging items in the bag anyway lol I did the treasure hunter and archaeologist professions. For the treasure hunter you actually get a dog to help you find the chests so there might be more than one type of dog if they also end up selling a dog in the pet store. Archaeologist seemed fairly easy at least in the early stage since the bats don't insta kill you unlike the spiders in the mine. I'd say blacksmith and jewelry making could end up being more "difficult" just from a survival/ease of getting materials point of view. I'm definitely looking forward to this game despite a few things I didn't care for (one shot killer spiders being the top one).

Ohhh that's so cute that the dog helps to find treasure! That's so fun! Also, I agree! I think infinite storage is a plus in general but we will definitely need sorting options I think. An infinite chest would be best of both worlds I think.

@@oknerium2338 I just booted the game and there's an update where you can choose Cozy or Hero mode. Not sure if spiders will spawn in Cozy mode.

Very well reviewed and your voice is so pleasant after the many, many high pitched squeaky voiced reviewers I seem to run into! You showed many aspects of the game that others haven’t so, thanks for being so thorough. One thing you didn’t mention (along with every other reviewer) is what platforms is the game planned for? Is there any info on this or are the developers keeping quiet on this topic? I don’t want to get excited and then find it won’t be available on PlayStation or mobile, thus cutting me off! 🙋‍♀️😏☹️

I was under the impression there was no relationships mechanic in this game, which is why I bought it.

What to expect? Boulders falling from the ceiling without warning. Killing the character and have you lose everything you found while mining. I was so disappointed when this happened to me three times in a row. And the demo only lets you play untill day 5. So I got nothing done by then. Just died over and over, trying to get some copper ore for the quest. I know this game looks cute and appealing, but I don't understand how so many people are excited for getting killed by spiders and boulders and going home empty handed.😢

I personally like the random aspects that make the mines a little complicated but I also see how frustrating that can be! Two tips if you want to try again, spiders only come out if you mine the gems. It's best to just run away. Also, if you don't like the spiders and boulders, you can now choose cozy mode when starting the game which is just a relaxing no death version!
