Why is there such an importance on HIV testing rather then testing for many viruses ?

HIV is incurable, most other STIs are treatable or curable. HIV destroys the immune system and in combat blood to blood contact isn’t unlikely

Because HIV is irreversible and if you spread aids to others obviously there’s no cure for that and will probably only have a few years to live.

So the military physical does not include when you have to do the push-ups and the situps and they’re running that’s timed that’s a separate thing. Does anybody know because my son is going for his physical next week

i’m almost 1000% sure that you don’t have to do any of that at meps. All of the things you described are things you will do in basic training/boot camp, meps is to just make sure ur healthy and physically good

It's interesting how women get separate treatment and special circumstance for induction. I guess all that noise about "equality" only applies when it benefits the females. Good to know my taxes are wasted on special treatment for inductees who never had to sign the draft forms.
