I use copilot, seems to work ok, maybe they got the bugs worked out. I am in driver training however.

Personal conveyance. Thankfully that doesn't happen to me anymore, but werner otr was famous for it, not only running out of hours getting unloaded, but also on a 50 mile run to get there

Thanks. I just started with Werner yesterday and I am an Apple iPhone type of guy, who really hates android. You’ve at least shown me how to get to the basic stuff and I will pick up the rest over time. Thanks

It runs on Android but it doesn't run like an android phone. It seems more similar to Linux. But you might get a truck that still has a Qualcomm, which is 20 year old tech.

Copilot professional also cant pick up routes. Will take one over 100 miles out of the way. It has wanted me to turn down ranch roads etc. The qualcomm Navigo was exponentially better and the volume AND brightness could be changed will driving. Tablet only allows volume. On tablet harder to track everything. And now with the continual new applications added the tablet now freezes for precious seconds sometimes tens of seconds.

I'm a new driver who will start my Columbus, Oh. Anheuser Bush account next week and my question is it better to scan the paperwork and send an info envelope after each load or wait until close to the end of the week to keep a more even paycheck each week? And yes i will keep all paperwork for a month or to the shred them after a certain time limit

I find it's better to scan it as soon as possible personally, but I think that's more of a your preference thing. I'm just worried I'd forget a trip from early in the week, and that's money I'd be missing. Congratulations on the new career choice. My only experience with Anheuser-Busch is that they're always over weight.

Quick question. So when you’re on home time, do you have to send out a “available for loads” message or they automatically send you a load?

Idk if they've changed their policy since I left werner to make more than twice as much money, but what I remember is that if you saved up 4 days, and went home on Friday you would get a load on Tuesday whether you told them you were ready or not, if you wanted be home on Friday but they got you home on Wednesday then they'd give you a load on Sunday whether you were ready or not, if they got you home on Saturday they'd ask you to come back on Tuesday but give you a load on Wednesday when you told them no. Thankfully the company I work for now doesn't micro manage home time, has better equipment, benefits, and pays a lot better.

I'm not a fan of it now because I'm on a dedicated pods account, but it would be a lot more useful otr, because I could take it with me while waiting for a load. Now I have no reason to remove it from the truck, and all it is is a more restricted version of the qcomm. For your sake I hope your new truck isn't an international. I had a new international last year, and I'm much happier in the 16 freight I'm in now because it's way more dependable

Matt Manduke hey man I drive for Werner as well an is on a dedicated account an have still not figure out how to do the Completed Loading task is it just me or everyone?

In order to do the completed load you have to have all your other stops completed first, then it works like every other stop. And unless you're on the same dedicated account as me, you probably don't have to fill out as many stops. I'm dedicated pods, and every pod is another fucking stop, so if I go somewhere and drop 3 16' pods, then pick up 5 7' pods, I have to fill out 8 stops.

@@rashawnharris8172 same here, all my tabs have been grayed out since I left Dallas. The navigation, IMHO, is horrible. Yesterday I was at the drop and my FM called and asked when I'd get to the store because they were tracking me and it showed me 47 miles out. Told her i was at the door!
