I think Ricardo will go overboard because the only way to stop Sendo is to knock him out and it will definitely be a bad one. It may cause Sendo an irreversible damage that he won't be able to go back to the ring. Worst case scenario he can't live normally. The only way Ippo can find the answer to his question about what strong really means is to totally win against a monster like Ricardo.

Well I am looking forward for 4th season as well but I wonder how long it will take when 5th would be released. With the speed of the Madhouse studio we can expect this around 2030-2033. For me what will be the most interesting match would be mashiba vs sawamura and ippo vs alfredo.

I'm not sure well get to see Ippo vs Alfredo by the 5th season but Mashiba vs Sawamura will make the internet go insane. But the 5th season will only really be watched by diehard Ippo fans if it's really released by 2030-2033. That isnt really enough people to justify it being released at all which might mean it wont get released for even longer

the problem is that nothing really important happened in these chapter , i think they should include itagaki vs imai so they finish the "new generation arc" even if they cut some ippo and miyata fight and they include them later in season 5 or something . everything happened is just leading to itagaki vs imai then in season 5 mashiba vs sawamura

Yes exactly, I didnt want it to have a whole season of build up for Imai vs Itagaki and then immediately after have like 80 chapters smushed in to fit Sawamura vs Mashiba and other fights before that
