I'm former ex Navy and currently county PD. Looking to get into federal law enforcement next. My buddy did the physical and academic tests for the DEA and got to speak with an investigator. Sounds like an awesome opportunity and now I'm looking into it. As far as the hazing non-sense goes... I learned in the police academy that my patience for it is getting lower and lower. However, I figure that I can grit my teeth through it the same way I grit my teeth through boot camp and police academy.

What kind of stuff did they do to haze you?

@@optimizing_fitness Nothing Major. Screaming, yelling, calling names, making you PT. The usual psychological bs games.

@@darkseidofapokolips9796 okay. I asked because during his video, I was thinking to myself: “I’d take that as a personal challenge, trying to keep my cool despite their attempts to fluster me.” But I had to ask since I don’t know how serious it could get. I appreciate the response 🥋🙏🏾

I've applied to be a DEA diversion investigator and now I have to take 2 assessments just to get an interview. I just don't get why they have so much assessments. Hopefully I pass these but man it's a lot of work.
@federallawenforcementcaree99003 жыл бұрын
Are these assessments q and a related such what would you do in such and such a situation?
@NbaMichaelBeasly303 жыл бұрын
@@federallawenforcementcaree9900 the 2 assessments were a 100 questions in total asking about myself such as how would your supervisor describe you and how your friends would describe you as a person and how I interact with people. The phase III assessment is next which will consist of math, reading, writing and scenario questions. I keep watching your videos about DEA to keep me motivated in the process and they help me stay focused and never give up. Hopefully I pass this next test to get to the interview phase. Basically 4 assessments in total.

Do you know if the DEA is as enthusiastic about hiring JD holders as special agents? I am a law student genuinely doesn't want to do traditional lawyering. I'm looking for alternative career paths that are more active in nature.

Any sleep deprivation in secret service training that you know of? The hazing and yelling imo is necessary. Especially for folks who never were police or in a combat arms military job. People are soft and they need that stress.
