you can just call it "kinematics" instead of "inverse kinematics". Legs are usually animated in IK but "kinematics" is a better term for the general connection of movement throughout the body. -3D animation student -edit Although i strongly agree with your take on the wierd body mechanics with the hips/body rotation. its unnatural and feels disconnected.

i was literally just talking about stalker in dayz! im so stoked dude! the accuracy in the scale of the world of dayz and arma maps is awesome i like when a mile in game looks and feels like a mile irl. stalker 2 is dope but i love what gamers do with the games they love even more than the original product most of the time.
