I don’t have a problem with using whips for that purposebut I wish that the woman in the middle of the ring didn’t keep waving the whip at the little chestnut foal. It was obviously stressing it and giving it a bad image because it was scared and kept kicking. Otherwise I loved this video. Keep it up!

I’m envious of the European horse market! So many quality horses drives down baseline sales to an attainable level. In the U.S., the baseline for so many prospects is in the five figures 💀

I think the very first time I watched your channel, Meg, was a pony sale -- you bought Jaffa -- he was so cute. I did feel a little badly for the really "wild" foals, who I think haven't had much exposure or even handling maybe? But it was lovely to see them all fly around like a coloured carousel -- the Welshes do come in such an amazing array of colours and mottling and a lot of white faces too. I just noticed for the first time that quite a few of the first foals and ponies we saw had very Arabian faces, which I'd never noticed before on your channel. And as Hobbit said, they were clearly very well cared for. Thanks for this. Sorry Hanna didn't get another horse :( Good time for the viewers though :)

I am down the road from the new forest sales which is really different to this (although they are all currently online due to COVID and the fact someone drove a car into the sale yard and burnt it down :( ) Have you ever considered a New Forest pony? Loved stumbling across your video! My ancestry is partially Welsh but unfortunately we cant discover enough to find relatives etc. I've always loved horses and recently started to learn Cymraeg (pronunciation is awful still but I wanna be a more fluent reader). I recently was able to pick riding back up and unbeknowst to me, the stable I started riding at paired me with a beautiful bay Welsh mare. The spitting image of what I hoped to some day ride when I was a small girl! Now, as a rather petite adult 😂, I'm living the dream that little me dreamed ❤ ! Watching your video reminded me to once again be grateful to see my dreams becoming some sort of reality! Between the accent, you lovely ladies, and the inside look at the pony sales... I feel like I've found "my people" 😂🎉

“2000 is a lot for a foal” most foals in the US that i’ve found typically start from 2000 and go up to 15000 depending on breeding and bloodlines 😂 i’m just shocked that these nice little welshies are only going for 1500 to 5000 i was actually expecting more than that 😂
