Right?! I made reasonable assumptions that the females are heterozygous for everything. If they aren’t, it would be even more complicated and probably more diverse too.

We are currently running 1010 gallon tanks doing the chase the Gene and phenotype here as well and I cannot express to you how valuable this set of videos you've posted up saved me in time of reading especially the value of being able to watch the videos over and over to kind of let this new set of words and acronyms sink in thank you very much for sharing this knowledge

I think you need to keep gene pool different and not be too picky. You can choose all the variants of blond white guppies and breed them to the whitest of their sisters. You would at least be removing one or two unwanted genes in every generation, while still keeping variety!

This is a good idea. I am considering this but I am also considering how to accomplish reaching the first overall goal I set sooner rather than later.
