In your urgent care, do you obtain a blood pressure on every patient? Do you do labs and X-ray in house?

do both! Start with one and while working do the other. You will be a dual cert NP and be able to work anywhere!

Hi Brittani! I enjoy your videos very much! Very helpful! I am an FNP student and want to work in urgent care after I graduate.. im so nervous tho.. i worked in ER for 2 years and as a critical float pool for 2 years but it has been (already) 7 years since I was out of work to stay home for kids.. I know I will like urgent care but I’m so nervous to jump into practice without current work experience.. what is your advice on fill those years gap? And do you recommend urgent care fellowship or you think it’s not worth it?

Hey Brittani!! I am working in an urgent care and we are seeing a ton of covid pts probably more than actual urgent care pts. Question though. I've been seeing a lot of these covid pts with severely enlarged tonsils. Have you see this? and if so how are you treating it?
