The Best loving Shadow in the world xxxx Be careful though please make sure someone is going to be home a lot as the suffer severe separation anxiety, which is so sad. We’re lucky. Cavapoos are crazily smart as they look at you after the 50th attempt of attempting for paw 🐾. He looks at you all “why are you trying to train me” “I do things my way” fabulous love them 😂😂😂😂

(Feb. 13, 2021 California) This was a really good “puppy primer,” and not too long at all. We have been waiting for the arrival of our Cavapoo (aka Cavoodle) puppy for a few weeks now. Her arrival date keeps getting postponed because of winter weather in the Midwest; she’s being flown in on a private charter plane from Ohio, where the snow storms have hit hard. We watch Zac George, too, and he is terrific. We are a retired couple with no children, and had to put down our beloved fur baby in December. We were so heartbroken and miss her so much. We know our new puppy Mia will fill the aching void in our hearts, and can’t wait to love...and spoil...her! Thank you for this video! 🐶💟

since you have had girl dogs before how do you deal with them when they go into heat, we are going to get her spayed but were going to do it when she is 8 months so I was wondering what you need to prepare and do when they go into heat

Our last girl Poppy first went into heat quite a long time ago (over a decade now!) so my memory isn’t the freshest! I don’t think you need to do anything besides be careful around other dogs to avoid any unexpected litters - that might not be correct though so I would consult other sources and you can always ask a vet too x

Thank you Chris:) We’ve followed the advice of our vet as Bailey can actually be a bit timid around larger dogs and is very well behaved we have chosen to leave him intact. We don’t want to rule out future possibilities as I would love to have one of his puppies someday but nothing’s set yet!🐾

My Cavapoo is currently 4 months old. He was very mouthy and loved to chew on things as all puppies do. However they are very trainable. My pup went to a 2 week aboard and train and he no longer chews things up and listens when I tell him to stop chewing on my fingers or other things. I would say the Cavapoo is a highly trainable breed.Good luck!!

Thanks for commenting Poppy - tell your dad I’ve said to get a cavapoo😉 They’re a brilliant breed that work very well with families, all puppies bite when they’re young and cavapoos are no different but I think it’s manageable! They’re intelligent dogs so try to keep them stimulated as much as possible and have plenty of playtime with durable toys which you can re-direct any biting towards. I think Bailey is a breeze to train, it seems like he wants to learn (he’s learnt how to spin this week). Teething doesn’t really stop until the adult teeth come through but if you keep things out of the way you’ll be fine💙 I think he / she will be very curious about the chickens but if you introduce them early and in a controlled environment I think they’ll be okay
