Sure, GR gives you freedom to play it in a cartoony explosive way if ya like too, but the game shines when you player slower more merhodical. Tips for beginner from a 2000hr + experienced GRW players 1- each base has different and unique strategies if you wanna play ghost/silent solo , there is also place for keeping your team mates out from base , 2- accuire the rebel recon level 3 skill ASAP ,you can complete this by finding parachute drop site , and it will help you easily identify targets , so that you can plan and then sneak on that perticular area 3- don't play aggressive/direct assault , it's the dumbest idea 4- if you're farther than 180m then enemy can't hear the shot without silencer , 5- try to play with pistol as much as possible , my personal favorite is M9 , it's sound is the best according to me 6- disable alarm before enterring base , and easiest way to finish a base is to attack on night time , but if you wanna be a skilled player try to play in both day and night time , 7- M4A1 , ACR,TAR 21,HK416 ,AK-12, are best AR in the game , and SR25/M110 is the Best DMR , also SRSA1 and MSR are the best bolt action Sniper I only use HTI for destroying Heli and enemy back up vehicles and Drone Jammer , MP5,P90 and Vector is the Best SMG for stealth, 8 - visibility for Enemy sniper in day time - 130m , night time - 50-60 meter , while not on alert ! 9- once you have experience over 50+ hrs , try to play without any UI and extreme difficulty , you will be expert in this game after few days practicing ! 10- INCA-Camina base , Holy malca base , koani Air base ,Media Luna & flore-de-ore Unidad base , San Mateo Base ,Mojocoyo Mine base , Caiminas boss home base are the toughest among all places , so practice on these base makes you a perfect GRW player

@@andrewstanley8945 MDR has the Problem of Bullet Drop , You're New in the game , and with MDR you get all Upgrades from the begining , as it's a DLC weapon , I think that's the reason of Liking that weapon , but believe me 416 is Far Superior than MDR in damage ,

I never used to use the "move to" command when I first started, I just let the squad do their thing. After watching a few of your Wildlands videos, I've gave it a go and have discovered that squad placement plays a big part in how a gunfight turns out

Stealth tip: Just because your gun has a suppressor, that doesn't mean it's perfectly quiet. Enemies can still hear your shots if you're close enough. Pistols are the quietest weapons. Melee take downs are perfectly quiet. Also if you're about 200m away from the closest enemy, you can use your sniper rifle without the suppressor since the enemies can't hear your shots that far away. You get a lot better ballistics without a suppressor.

Advice on shooting: always compensate for bullet drop and remember to lead your shots - don't shoot where your target is unless they're still completely still, instead shoot a little ahead of where they'll be walking.

For anyone trying to level up in tier one mode, just turn on tier one mode once ur about to finish a mission (this might change the difficulty so remember to change it back once u get the XP)

Started 3 weeks ago. I went from a newbie to playing ghost mode and unlocking the exo suit and I can say this is really helpful for ghost recon wild lands in general. Great video. Liked and subbed. Fun fact: If you complete ghost mode entirely (tier 1 mode and reaching level 30) you can get 17,200 or 17,600 prestige points from doing that. Thats 40 - 44 worth of prestige crates!

Good video. I've been playing for 6 months. Here's my tip. If you stay in the 1 or 2 star AO's, you can take out convoys easily by stealing one of the white little bird Heli's. Use the mounted guns (RB on X box) to take out the escort cars. Then tell your squad to engage and they kill the truck driver. Land, tag and move on. I went back and forth between the first area and Ocoro and accumulated enough resources to get all the upgrades I wanted. Then I walked to the spot where the HTI sniper rifle and Grenade launcher are. Much easier to hit convoys that way before you have EMP or Rebel Spotting later on.

The word recon is definitely something you're gonna wanna focus on, starting out... especially once you start to play Ghost mode.. You will want to know what sort of hard targets (SAM'S, jammer, alarms, gennies, etc..) are on base before you infil.. Don't wanna get caught by surprise and have unidad choppers swarming your ao.. especially if you prefer stealthy gameplay... take your time and scope out the area... Pick your sync shots carefully and no one will even know you were there... also, your gear will SAVE YOUR LIFE.. Flashbangs, diversion lures and mines will make any stand and defend mission manageable... And get those rebels trained up so they will help you if sh*t hits the fan... Lastly, s/o @Ghost Island Thunder for making dope vids that helped inspire me to create my own GR content... respect bruv... Actual, out... 🤙🏽

I know I'm late to the party but I just picked up wildlands on game pass. Was a fan of the og ghost recons back in the PS1/2 days but haven't played since then. And breaking point was on sale for $12 bucks so I bought it. Anyways I'm starting with wildlands I'll let breaking point sit on the shelf for awhile. I have to say My stepdad did the reverse order of things of playing Ghost Recon I started on Wildlands because I saw my dad play it and it looked fun, I had fun My stepdad started on Breakpoint which he liked and did everything in that game He gotten Wildlands after playing it because I guess he wanted a new video game to play I don't know what is his opinions of the game but I hope it surprises his opinion of Breakpoint, he liked the game.

I just bought the game for a friend and myself since it's got a huge discount on Steam for Summer Sale lol. Been enjoying the hell out of it and other more slow paced /milsim-ish games. Been enjoying Arma Reforger, Helldivers 2, Ready or Not, Bodycam, Squad, and this game. These games are slowly becoming my favorite game types.

I think it's time to give this game a go, as I absolutely failed in it the time I bought 2 years ago and since then I gave an other shot to Breakpoint and after the hard beginning I started to feel the hang of it. I think story- and feeling wise this would give as much fun as it seems from your movies, which I would binge watch from now on :) It's surprising that you sad how many people are still playing these games, even online. Well, I got the Fallen Ghosts DLC for free because Epic Games gave it away months ago, but even if you don't have it, you will still have all of the Ubisoft Club weapons and skins because you need a Ubisoft account to play the game. Ok, my tip is, just use the internet to get the locations of your favorite weapons, I don't think it's cheating because if you pay for a DLC, crate, or bundle, you'll get weapons. Plus, alot of the weapons seem to act at least similarly, so depending on the way you play the game, toward the end, you might get some rather lackluster guns, but if there's a certain gun you like in other games and you want to use it, just look on KZbin, find a video of the location, and go get it. After all, Ubisoft thinks it's fun to lock the American classic M16 and M60 Rambo gun behind a paywall among other weapons, so yeah, just find your favorite weapons and attachments, and go fight the Cartel. For beginners: 1. Play Regular Campaign first 2. Disable Mini map and Markers (Markers are basically wallhack). Doing so will make you be more tactical 3. Be stealth when killing enemies as possible, you get more EXP 4. Kill every enemies by yourself as much as you can (Keep your AI teammates outside of enemy bases) 5. Clear each base stealthily as much as possible 5. Play in Extreme difficulty, that is like the true regular mode of the game 6. Choose a Good loadout (1 AR / 1 Sniper / 1 Pistol) 7. DO NOT RUSH THE STORY, EXPLORE. Otherwise, the open world aspect of the game is useless 8. Clear the game, as in collect every collectibles there is 9. Travel by land as much as possible, you get extra EXP from roadside activities (SB / UNIDAD checkpoints) 10. DO NOT PLAY/BUY NARCO ROAD, get FALLEN GHOST instead For experienced Players: 1. Play Ghost Mode in Extreme Difficulty (If you're playing Regular Campaign, Go Lone wolf) 2. Turn off ALL HUDs 3. DO NOT USE DRONE, unless the mission requires it 4. Be stealth at all times, unless the mission requires otherwise 5. Clear bases stealthily 6. Use different Primary Weapons depending on the mission 7. Play LONE WOLF (IF YOU DARE) 💀💀 Regarding coop (esp. in Ghost Mode), random coop isn't recommended. Better play with your friends IRL, people in random coops just wanna show off with no regards of what others' playstyle is or what difficulty they are playing at.

I had to pause this video because I'm I ready to hop on the game and I realized I've been fucking up by not running through the story mode and getting my rank up.... I just started playing this joint like last month and immediately jumped into ghost mode and I turned off the enemy clouds on the HUD because it's not immersive imo. But I've been trying to go pick up new weapons instead of ranking up which is why I probably keep having to start over every other day or so. But even though I'm a newbie I feel like ghost mode is really the only way to play.... Either way I'm definitely going to listen to the rest of this joint while I try to channel my inner metal gear solid spirit and solid snake around the map and get my points up.. hopefully I don't die again and have to start over again....

Playing with ai teammates sometimes things work as planned..but also when things going smoothly,the ai teammates failed my stealthy run when doing some mission. So I just use the hold position command and just let my ai teammates in the bushes.😆 also always upgrade the vehicle drop off skill..so you can call the small helicopter drop off at your position. I only use drone with the noisemaker cause it much more easier to gather up the enemy and use sync shot or just threw the flashbang and kill them.

Thank you for the helpful tip, I just purchased the game couple of days ago so I can play it with my friends (only one of us is a veteran to the game and even he played it only in singleplayer) but the servers are currently under some kind of attack and the game is quite lagging during our connected play time to the point it becomes so frustrating. We even started using Hamachi and it serves as a bandage on a gun wound, but we can squeeze an hour sometimes of an uninterrupted play time, because the game itself is really fun, especially due to all of us loving the quiet approach to combat and the game offers a fun way to do it. What I would like to know is other multiplayer experiences, if anyone could tell me if this server problem is persistent and is the normal game with friends possible at all now in 2024? I know what it is (for me) the realism it's a recon game the idea is to get in and get out unseen leave no trace, this one feels more arcadey and slightly to easy more chatioc which is fun but you can deal with the enemies very easily.

Tier one mode isn't worth grinding for me, except for the Desert Tech HTI BDC and LVOA-C Bad News. The rest isn't anything special. I struggled to reach level 1, but you can still enjoy the game without the tier one mode.

Hi, off topic, but does anyone know how to or if there even is a fix to the 'helicopter bug' where you can no longer descend or even dismount the chopper once too high? ... it happened for me while doing the 'Inca Camina' missions ... helicopters have now been rendered useless for me 😢

Yeah it's playable offline unlike breakpoint. You don't need to connect online in order to play it. I mostly play solo and sometimes with a few friends
