Idk much about politics but lemme tell ya the Indians who have immigrated to my neck of the woods are some of the friendliest most thoughtful people I've ever met. I've tried to actually watch a few documentaries about India so I can know more, but I definitely didn't realize HOW big of an endeavor that was when I began. Best of luck in this election to all! As a lower caste Christian Indian living in mainland India throughout my life, it’s more than a democracy. To you it won’t seem like that bc your sources of info are biased media houses (funded by anti-India entities) hell bent on spreading misinformation about us in order to portray as rabid dogs who need external force (neo-colonialism) to be civilised. They’re doing this to justify their killing (literally and figuratively) of us. Contrary to popular belief, I as a minority have been able to avail free housing and education loan at a much lower rate of interest under the present GoI than the past ones. If anything the previous government usurped my ancestral land and gave us no compensation. If you haven’t lived in India for more than 5 years, you won’t understand what plurality really is. Are there disagreements? Sure. In a population of 1.4 billion people, if you expect no one to fight against each other, you’re the fool.
