What to know about leveling a shipping container

I watched a lot of videos before leveling this container. Half these videos were put together by dangerous idiots with little regard for safety.
Leveling a shipping container takes more than a couple of farm jacks. I suspect many have tried but didn’t survive to post the video.
One story in my area, while leveling a container it slipped from it’s blocks and rolled down a hill. Another smashed his foot with a container.
You may not realize it, but a shipping container is heavy enough to sheer off a foot. The driver even warned me with unloading.
Speaking of drivers. No matter how talented, they will never put your container exactly where you want it. Too many factors to consider.
Be happy enough they got it to your site and off the truck without any problems. But a level container is a happy container.

I recently installed a couple of containers, too. I used elevated gravel/stone beds with 2ft long 6x6's (grnd contact PT0 for the corners. I like your idea of limiting the amount of movement in case of something going wrong. In my next leveling, I'll be sure to remember that. Tks!

Thanks. I'll be raising a few buildings, been collecting wooden blocks. Safety first. I need to lift 2ft to frame. But it will never be 2 inches of something sold.
