@heart4740 If he continues threatening Denmark/Greenland, it will end up in a world war. Not just because Denmark is a NATO country, but also because Russia would not accept Greenland to be annexed by the US. So far, the past 30 years, after it became known that Greenland had enormous natural resources, the only thing preventing a Russian annexation was the fact, it wasn't American neither. Belonging to a relatively "neutral" small peaceful country has so far kept the peace. But if Trump moves in, Russia will do too and NATO in the middle will try to defend itself from both. That scenario alone is explosive, but all the 52 commonwealth countries will support NATO, China will support Russia etc. Attacking Greenland in any way is a war of declaration to all 31 remaining NATO countries as per article 5. That means a America in direct war with Canada too. If Trump doesn't back down from Greenland, which there's no sign of so far, a war WILL come and this time with the US as the aggressor. He HAS to stop his dreams of conquering all of North America!. Here in Europe, we DON'T see it as "negotiation tactics". We see it as real threats to our freedom. Musk's attempt to promote fascism in Europe with money and interference in our democracies and free elections is another very serious threat and totally unacceptable. The US and Trump has NO business meddling with our world. But nevertheless they are clearly more occupied with Europe, our money and land, than fixing America's problems. I have been an optimist all my life. Trump is mad and won't stop. He is a simple populist, who doesn't understand the potential consequences of his actions because he doesn't understand how everything is connected nowadays. He might not want to declare war, but he will end up doing it without even realising it.

Are you referring to Trumps removal of all regulations regarding Chemical transportation, disposal and use? Or him allowing pollution and destruction of nature?. Or are you referring to the deportation of all those that pick and process US farmers crops?. Or the removal of a maximum price on medications like insuline?. Or the common sense to threatening NATO with war?. Or the common sense of starting a war with all the countries in the world, that produce the medications, food, clothe, spareparts, and are responsible for all shipping to and from the US? Or the common sense of threatening the countries that every year keeps the US from bankruptcy and collapse, by lending the US money? Or the common sense in putting a 25% import tariff on everything, that obviously will raise prices with 25%? Are ANY of these examples "common sense" ? Who will pay for the US military, if Trump abolish the income tax and the IRS?. Trump wants to "buy" Greenland that aren't for sale, - but with what money? The US HAS NO MONEY. The US only survive because European and Asian countries keep lending them money. MY common sense tells me that no one forces America to buy anything from other countries, apart from all the raw materials the US doesn't have or all the products the US can't produce. No one forces American consumers to buy foreign products! If American consumers wants to pay more for an US produced inferior quality product, they are more than welcome to show their national patriotism that way. That's how capitalism works. If American products can't compete with the outside world, without protectionism, it is not the outside worlds fault, but America's own. The US is supposed to be a capitalistic society and the protectionism Trump will impose is an old communist government tool. Europe has more safety regulations, much higher worker pay etc, and yet we have managed to compete quite well with cheap Asian products, by using our inventive strength, compete on quality, service etc. If America can't compete on an open world market, it's because they are to lazy, to uneducated, to greedy, and simply loosers and cry babies, that wants competition from the outside world to stop. If Americans are so great, why not make better products, that other countries actually would buy? There's nothing stopping America from doing so. Of course COMMON SENSE tells me that will become almost impossible if the price of all raw materials goes up 25% because it has to be imported (like Canadian steel and lumber f.ex), and even harder if the fuel and energy cost will rise with 20-25% because of Trumps 25% tariffs on imported oil from Canada and other countries!. This is NOT about right or left politics. It's just a question of common sense and MAGA's definition of that is the exact opposite.
