I don’t wear a beanie while I am skiing instead I wear my gator while I am skiing. And also I have ski goggles that helps me avoid the bright light of the sun but the lenses color of my ski goggles are purple.

Always first off get hold of a resort piste map, it'll give you something to study when your having a rest and something to eat and drink, and having it in your pocket means you'll not get lost. AND, if you are tied, go back down to your hotel, the snow will still be there tomorrow.

I always wear a beanie because I'm bald - or bald enough that a helmet without a beanie is uncomfortable. You are the first person with hair I've seen recommend that. 12:30 At lunch turn your gloves inside out and put them on a heater if you can find one. Dry out the inside of the gloves from the sweat of the morning.

I have forgotten to bring sun screen several times and didn’t want to pay top price at the resort gift shop, so I just buy chapstick and smear it over my face, works just as well, if not better. So far, no resort has had a gall to charge me more than $3 for chapstick.

You don’t have to spend a ton of money to ski just buy a cheap bib and gloves and that all you need especially if you are skiing down south you don’t need the fancy thermals and crazy base layers

You can always borrow clothes and skis from friends. I would rent boots know. Skiing is an expensive sport as lift tickets and accommodation are quite expensive. You can do it on a budget though.
