Thank you so much for stating the reality that success doesn't come overnight. It is frustrating and discouraging seeing so many "I made thousands of dollars in my first 30 days" videos. And honestly, some of the big KZbin P.O.D. channels are guilty of this. So, hearing you both address this (especially now in Q4) is very refreshing and encouraging. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Joe could you possibly make a more technical video for possible likely issues newbies are likely to face on the shop and sales end ? For example I know POD doesn’t hold inventory but do you ever have to front customers money if their payment doesn’t go through in time ? Thank you for the constant value videos.

I was off to a good start with POD on Etsy but they suspended me with no explanation. They said they couldn't tell me for security reasons. So now I am trying to turn my Shopify store into a hybrid of dropshipping and POD for a full clothing line. But my problem is I have no money and no traffic.

Hi Joe - thank-you for sharing this video. I enjoyed hearing you and Cassiy share your words of wisdom with us. I wish you would have also shared why you picked Shopify specifically as the platform to build your POD business on, as opposed to all the others. Likewise with Cassiy, why she chose Etsy. I am just starting out learning what I can about POD. Thanks again.

Great video as always ,Joe! Can you use printify for Etsy( already set up previously)AND Shopify on the same email? Is it recommended to keep them on separate printify emails or it doesn't really matter if they are both on the same email account? Thanks !

Hey Joe. Been checking out your videos on here and I love it so far. I apologize if this isn't the right place to post a question but I have not seen the subject breeched (yet). My question: What are your thoughts on self-hosting your store on a Wordpress/Woocommerce type platform? Yes, I have the technical acumen to actually do that (I can post the URL if you want to see the store). In your opinion is there any good reason to NOT do this? Thanks! Ron

Okay, so let's say I wanted to start my very own clothing brand that takes inspiration from well know brands like, Nike, Adidas, and Puma or various other street/sport urban wear brands? Would that still be considered random in terms of design? For example, say I make a collective amount of designs that aren't really random, but ideas I've had for a while that are just surrounded by my brand name? Does that effect the success of a store?
@tylerdarden58709 ай бұрын
The biggest issue you are going to be facing is now you are competing with Walmart as well they are selling the same shirts as seen on Etsy so most people can now get those same designs shipped to them that day. As far as Branding goes it also factors into how your site looks. If you are stuck in the Dawn theme selling clothing as a Brand take time to grow and don't catch quick because you are trying to sell the brand through the product so you have to think of the product as the brand. Knowing this if you go into a niche with the idea of branding right away that is fail mode, I know this from experience. Etsy looks easy but you can get banned within hours for no reason at all I know this too from experience. In all POD is not easy to finish the way you want it is easy to start. So far I have found quite a few ways not to run my business but I haven't failed. Failure is only giving up!

Hey guys, pls clarify one thing the pod business is growing means your talking about the sellers right.... If lot of sellers means lot of compitition.... That means it's gonna go down .... Due to supply and demand..... Correct me if I am wrong....

I would love to see a set-by-step video on how to list multiple items such as a sweatshirt, hoodie and tee shirt on one listing. I get confused on the Printify side of publishing all three? Then on the Etsy side I have the one listing with all the different sku? and they will be personalized. So if I publish all three on Printify doesn’t all three show up on Etsy but I want just one listing? Hope someone can answer this question.

I've come to accept that my store isn't going to be extremely successful, because I just can't sit at my pc and make 1000 "dog mom" "cat dad" or whatever niche items over and over till the end of time. I'd much rather make stuff I care about, even though it'll be much less money. Maybe I'll change my store name to starving artist in training lol.
