From Lil Giant I read the other positive comments, but not me. Do not like having to review the video two-three times so I can get everything said. You speak VERY QUICKLY. Perhaps Patreon should put a button for fast and slow. LOL Do not pay any attention to me. I am technologically ignorant and do not plan to join😉.

@DrexFactor Poi: Thank you for your sincere advice. I have a lot of work from freelancing for 18 years, and would like to become a better artist through doing more content. I'm glad I haven't just jumped into Patreon without some experience. I like how you said, 1) Create a body of work 2) Cultivate a fan base 3) Tell them there is a way to support the individual creating. I also like how you were super authentic and I felt it came from the heart. You're video cuts are really smooth and I can feel your genuinely humble desire to help individuals coming forward to Patreon. Thanks again brotha, peace!

After a year on Patreon I always learn something new from these cool videos. But I will say, this video puts too much emphasis on an exchange. Essentially you've positioned so it's like you work for your patrons. I wildly disagree but I respect you have more experience here. This all wholly my opinion, and it might have been perceived that way by me bc you did a wonderful job being to the point. But setting the precedent early, in my experience, has been the best I started doing. Be the person that constantly overdelivers. While taking this stance at first may not lead to a rapid rise, it didn't for me, now that I do have more it's enabled exponential scale. thank you for this video!

Still haven't found a video that answers my question; How does a patreon patrons get access to patreon only content? What I assume is that the KZbinr provides links to videos that are *unlisted* and they email out to links to patreons that are *fan only content* ...but is this how it works or do people sign into patreon accounts and have all of the people they support send them links via that? It's this sort of technicality that nobody seems to want to explain.

This video is the complete antithesis of those "How to Make a lot of Money" videos that are going around, that are ultimately just scams and pyramid schemes. This encourages us creators to focus on building a deeper connection with our audiences--producing what we love--not for the sake of "the big bucks," but because we have something to offer. That's the right way to look at ourselves and the content we make ^_^ Of course, we all want to live $$$comfortably$$$ (trust me, I get it), but I think the better goal is to provide people with the content you would want if you weren't capable of making it yourself. This video was really helpful! Thanks!~ xD

I was just wondering when is it too soon to make a Patreon? Like I don't have a massive following or a massive amount of people that would probably support me on patreon if I made one. I have about 1000 followers on instagram and I'm just wondering should I make a patreon now because I'm thinking of documenting my process of recording my debut E.P. with all my original music but I'm worried that it might come across as arrogant to make one before I even really have a proper following. Any thoughts and advice anyone? Thanks!

How do you add the link to your end card? how did you verify it?
@DrexFactor6 жыл бұрын
The link to my Patreon? It doesn't have to be verified--KZbin already lists Patreon among a group of approved third-party sites that you can link to both in your cards and end screens. When you go to Add Element, add a link and just fill out your Patreon URL. Patreon is already approved, so KZbin will just let you go through the rest of the process for completing the element.

Only one thing is not clear with Patreon: it is possible to access all the content without paying? I know, it is depends on the users, but there are lots of places in the World where that 1-2 USD is a big amount, but the content is required. So, if your patron's joins to you, they can access your stuffs immediately but their account charged once per month, but they remove their account from Patreon and in next month join to your chanel again, and when they accessed to your new content, before paying they remove their account, etc... Is it possible?! Thanks for reply and experience!
