Maybe they don't post that regularly. They could be busy with their job. If you want like a big following you need to be posting on all your social medias quite regularly.

I used to draw as a kid (27 now) started getting the itch this past year and like you said.. I saw all the info on here and got crazy overwhelmed lol I love you explanation on how drawing translates to many aspects in life. Which has given me a whole new level of motivation. Judging on your level scale, I'm definitely am somewhere between 1 and 2 lol and have tried areas of 3. Overall I just need to practice more. Thanks for the great video!

I'm so glad the algorithm brought me to your channel. I've been learning to draw for a few months now and dabbled in a few things; but without structure. After trying my first portrait drawing I've felt a bit lost on were to go next, how to improve my skills, what to focus on, etc and your video is the perfect learning map. Just wanted to say thank you and I'm looking forward to continuing to learn with your very helpful video. 😊

I'm usually looking for keywords when learning something new. Things I can look up and read on, and start slowly understanding them whether or not I'll implement them right away. With music I could get away with mostly using wikipedia, but for drawing I didn't know what's out there in the first place to even start studying it. This video gives some sense in direction until I can look up things better. Thank you

Its definitely overwhelming as a beginner, and any start to any journey is just as overwhelming! You just gotta take it one step at a time and when you look back you will see how far you have come and it will be exciting as you continue to progress on your drawing journey!! 💃✨

I'm like level 5? My knowledge and skills didnt follow the proposed pattern though. Levels 1-3 I gained from art classes I took back in high school. A lot of the level 4 knowledge has been gained from overlapping interests like photography for composistion + color and health science for anatomy over the course of yeaaaars. Also a bunch of just trial and error seeing what works/doesnt work. I don't plan on going pro though so I'll probably just sit here while drawing random stuff here and there for fun whenever I'm struck with inspiration.

I think level four does not need a teacher because there are many who teach coloring and shading on KZbin.
@stallout_art2 ай бұрын
I agree, you can learn coloring and shading here on KZbin that’s for sure, but having a second eye helps you level up quicker so I think joining a discord server or getting your friends to critique your work paired with KZbin tutorials is a great alternative to spending money on a teacher 💪😎

Can you show how to trace effectively
@stallout_art2 ай бұрын
tbh tracing at level 0 is more of a mindful act paired with learning a new motor skill because if you zone out while tracing its just gonna be a relaxing activity and not a learning one. So you want to see the lines you are making, ask yourself why does this line look like this what if it was a squiggly line vs a straight line. Once you get bored of tracing you should try copying your reference image and then with a different color trace that image and see how far you were off and you will start to see how to look at a reference and your motor skills will improve. This is just a method to improve faster at drawing and your artistic eye so if you really hate tracing, don't even bother and just draw what you enjoy and you will still improve that way. 💪

Hello my advice would be to find some pictures of humans,faces, animals, characters u love, or anything really. Place your paper over and draw shapes over the pictures and simplify the whole picture down to shapes. And see what shapes make up those things. Try to think 3d shapes when doing this

Kinda feel like your video is what took me to level 5. But levels 6-8 have these components that I already have? Because art isn't my first career, it's my third. I was a software developer for a couple decades, and then I was a business coach for almost another whole decade. Now I've been working on the art thing for six years, and when you said "hey, level 5 is this thing where you look back on the previous levels and think they're kinda basic" I went "damn, they kind of are." But when you're talking about the higher levels, you're mostly talking about things that go with getting older and progressing in your career, not so much things that are specific to art. I'm already older and progressed in my career. I don't feel like I've gotten through level 5 yet (I just got here!) but it seems like I would just jump straight to the latter half of level 7 at that point. As far as your question, I do like this video, since as you can see I did stay till the end - so more videos like this would be awesome. Also why do you talk so much like Angel Ganev
@stallout_art2 ай бұрын
Yeah level 6-8 is more career focused, but it doesn't have to be imo because if you are drawing as a hobby level 6 you could be exploring different mediums and then level 7 you find that you really like doing this one thing so you get crazy good at it, and then level 8 you make something cool for your family or community that they find valuable, so its pretty nuanced when you get to level 6-8. 😉 I have no idea why I talk so much like Angel 😂 he is pretty entertaining I will give him that, but I don't think I will go as far as shaving my head 🤔
