Well yeah. You might not find the exact one you want so settle for something relatively close but every time you drive it, all you will be thinking is "I wish it had red leather". Yes, you could have it replaced/resprayed but it will end up costing quite a bit, may not end up being what you pictured and any changes made to the original spec WILL drop the value of the car, no matter how expensive or good the items you have swapped in are.

I have this type of car and the N52 engine is a very reliable engine. This car is more solid compared to all the new bmw plastic nonsense out their. Nice video my brother

HI, Thanks for reviewing this great car! Sorry this will be a little critical but first and foremost you had the good sense to buy and review an awesome car. Silly I know, but your car is not a convertible as stated (22:37). It is the e86 coupe version of the z4, which is ten times as rare. (I'm only stating in detail for others) There were only about 2000 3.0si coupes sold in the United States, plus about 2000 more z4m coupes. You cannot easily find one with exactly your desired options. I know:) Given that, it would make more sense to concentrate on what to look out for mechanically. You do this to some degree, but I think potential mechanical problem areas should be emphasized. I personally was surprised by a transmission fluid leak from a bad gasket recently. I've only had mine about 6 months. It was such a pleasurable jump from my little z3 that I really enjoyed pushing the zf auto through the gears at redline. So maybe the leak shouldn't have been a surprise:) But overall the engines are solid, as are the automatic transmissions. I've only heard good things about the manual too. So for anyone looking for a smaller sports car, and maybe considering a Cayman or Boxster, you can get a lot more for your money with this. Cheers and thanks again for the video.

FYI - if your Z4 Coupe has rock chips on the facia, you have a MASSIVE problem. The facia is inside the car. It's the upright bit between you and the hood/bonnet. The bit you're talking about is "the front". If your facia does have rock chips the chances are that the hood has been fitted directly to the rear. So not only would you be totally exposed but you will be facing the wrong way. You have two choices in how to deal with it - either drive so that the rear of your car is facing forward and you arei reverse or get really good at using your mirrors.

Use wd 40 silicone spray on your rubber seals and gaskets to prolong life !

The past 30k miles have been a dream. Only thing to fail on me was the water pump. Other then that it’s been flawless

what mileage do you have on your Z4? I have the exact same color combination grey with red seats but mine came in a better interior condition but messy underneath

Na etwas Pflege würde den z4 auch mal gut tun kein Wunder das manche Sachen schon etwas fehlerhaft sind !! So ein Auto braucht Pflege kein Besitzer der nur Anklage!
