What to Look for When Buying a Used BabyJogger City Select

I just bought a 2015 model, I’m really surprised how well it hold up for a 7yo stroller. I over paid for it $225 but in my area is extremely rare to come buy I’d have to drive 3h away to NJ to find cheap ones. In todays gas prices I actually saved money 😆. It came with 2 seats, 2 trays and a bug net. It’s also red in a black frame. The lady kept all papers, felt like buying a car lol. Everything works perfect, we washed the seats and came back perfect! The basket under the stroller was ripped a little bit, keep an eye for those. My husband was able to sew back together. So with a little bit love the thing looks brand new again, 7 years later :). Does anybody knows if the quality changed for new ones?

I got one of these used and it's held up incredibly well, it's from 2015 and everything still works. The only draw back was that the seats were smaller than on a newer model. But my oldest son is on the smaller side so it might last us till we're done with the stroller. we have another stroller for more off road driving anyway. This one is great for shopping though, narrow and big basket

How much did you buy it for? I found one on Facebook for $125 this exact model not sure if that’s a good deal it comes with both seats.

@@gabyamaya8554 It's a good deal but the sibling seat for this model is very small so I would want it if there is too little of an age difference. Also the biggest seat isn't good for very big children. So I'd say a 2-3 year she difference could work because then the smaller child can move on to the bigger seat, and use the stroller in single mode and the older sibling will be done with strollers. If that makes sense

Any recommendations if the grey part of the recline button has fallen off? I got this stroller used for free and everything is in mostly good shape except for the one seat recline button.

I´ve bought mine in Perú second hand. The only problem i found, and the reason im here, is the locking of the front wheels. I´ve checked and the bar popping out in one of them is, as u said, cut in half (how on earth?) It´s the only issue, and its annoying. I´ve tried putting on a strap or sth, it does the trick until it doesn´t. :( Im annoyed. Help

Hello I have a city select double stroller and I was having a hard time closing and opening it. I checked to see what was wrong with it and I noticed the plastic that holds the screws in place where the gear teeth are broken. Can you please tell me where I could find replacement parts.

The market has changed significantly since this video was released, and it is not at all my favorite 2-seater at the current moment. The Vista isn't either though, I prefer side-by-side models like the Donkey, City Mini GT2 Double and the Thule Urban Glide Duo for 2 children. :)
