The Baby Jogger website says to spot clean the canopy. Have you washed in the washer with good results?

Is it safe to wash with that bar in the washing machine (the one you removed which you said was broken?) I'm scared to put it in.

The bar doesn't ussually break, but depending on the condition of the textiles, it's always possible they might rip as a result of that bar, so if you're concerned about it, it might be better to wash by hand :)
