I could’ve easily listened for another hour. No kidding. It’s been very captivating, genuine, passionate, and fresh. Buy what you love, know what you buy. At the end of the day nobody cares what’s on your wrist, but you. I love that each watch I own makes me smile just by looking at it. But then it’s as much about people as it is about watches., if not more. There’s nothing I enjoy like a great story of a person and their watch.

I think there was some editing required as we did ramble on for another 30 minutes or so! Thank you for the kind words and taking the time to watch, really appreciate the comment. Watches making you smile is the only thing that really matters with collecting, love to read that. All the best, Ben

What a great episode. Substance knowledge, pleasant discussion and true passion was very palpable throughout. He is in the niche which is very interesting and outside of the hype that's too prevalent online for my taste. Understanding the significance of all these neo-vintage pieces post-quartz crisis is such an interesting piece of history in the watch world. Hopefully future is full of Breguet, Blancpain, non-Royal Oak AP, VC, Ebel, Zenith, IWC, Lange etc... But if not I'm happy to enjoy them without the hordes.

I'd like to see Justin wear an Ebel now or then. Incredible quality and design, no surprise that it cost more than Daytona in the 90s.

Guys, loved the conversation! Especially the part on watch straps. Can only agree, we need more colours and more fun nut just black and brown 😅. Straps are so important they change the aesthetic of the watch completely 😁👍

Ben is the epitome of the positive side that can still be found in the watch industry. The antithesis to the Rolex and arm tattoo flippers selling superhero watches. He has integrity to the core.

I like the conversation, and you are a deadly handsome man, but you have got to start SHOWING more of the WATCHES. You can just insert pictures of the watches you're talking about for 30 seconds here and there. It would make all the difference in the world.

Wanted to echo the puzzlement regarding Cartier. They get a pass for things that other brands get flack for… pricing vs horological value, uniformity in design across price points. People chomp at the bit for a solar cartier with a $3 quartz movement, sold for 3-4k, then but poopoo a new ingenieur for not being in-house enough to justify the price. Perhaps they are a boon to dealers because they can get them for cheap, and can sell them to non watch nerds for a good profit. I appreciate Ben trying to be polite about it, but I find them to lack value.
