Right now, going full flux. BUT, I`m waiting to see more utility in the network in the coming weeks to keep with them. Right now, Flux has a huge descentralized network but not so much big players, since most dapps are simple garbage. The team must be aware that we are in the brink of major changes in the market and 100K grant for new good projects may not be enough to incentivize good people to change to Flux ecosystem! IMHO, it's time to go all in, maybe 5X this grant in the serach for real good projects. Also, we need energy efficient uPow algo to keep competitive in the dark days to come!

Fun interview. I run as a sole proprietorship, but don't focus on selling for immediate profits this is a future investment process. So, that being said, my 25-GPU farm will be migrated and tweaked to peak mining on the coins I plan to mine post merge about 3-4 days before ETH cutover. I will adjust as needed afterwards, but won't be doing anything at cutover since I will already be mining the coins I find most interesting (not most profitable) to me. I'll be HODLing mined coins, but definitely selling portions of coins that hit ATH and higher to have fiat liquidity for growth beyond my personal investment.

I agree with DJ Mines. 2 Miners BTC payouts for mining ETH are awesome especially if you have a smaller set up . Eth payouts are 0.1 but BTC payouts are .005 and nano payouts are.0005. You get payout much quicker. Im running 9 cards and get paid out in the Eth equivalent of BTC every 2 days instead of every 2 weeks.

Flux has a lot going behind it, thats why. Its decentralized server concept (nodes), has created a massive demand for applications of all types (video games + application hosting) that makes it have a real world use behind it beyond NFT's and such. So Flux has its popularity. Plus, you can earn passive income by staking your FLUX with a node or nodes in a VPS and earn from that as well. So its like double earnings (just not the same amount but you get my point).

Hope you read this, i've been trying to assemble a mining rig, i have a b450 tomahawk max II, which has 5 pci slots, it works flawlessly with 4 gpus, but everytime i add a 5th gpu, the radeon software crashes when the miner is starting. I already tested the gpus and risers separatedly and they work, i wonder if it is the mobo...any help appreciated

Read it! B450s are a nightmare. Your going to have a hard time getting 5 GPUs to work even with spiltters. Just because a board has the slots doesn't mean it supports that many GPUs sadly.

The Hobbyist Miner , I believe ERGO has better profitability than FLUX and Flux actually uses MORE power than ERGO. Unless FLUX has some kind of push upward than it would make sense to switch over to it.

The PoS and merge specifications have already been finalised, a PoS chain is already live and has been live since December 2020 through the beacon chain, there's already been a few PoS and merge testnets with the final one taking place right now through the Kiln testnet, and the Kiln testnet successfully merged a few weeks ago with a few minor client-specific issues (nothing to do with the network itself, but some clients). It may be delayed a few more months if client diversity doesn't improve (right now, 66% of the live PoS network is using the same Prysm client, which is an issue when it comes to security and stability), but it's definitely happening.

Personally with 4.7ghash of ETH..; im going pure nicehash. with the exchange rate of eth to btc anyway. it works out much of a muchness with gas fees. Flux will be good. Bearing in mind team. as proof of stake goes full fork. The gpu miners have to go somewhere..., zcash, kapow, monero, raven, ltc, etc, doge. will see an influx of hash rate. and of course day traders will follow. as will market price follow.
