At the description did not describe liquid and other add like lemon or vinager, coffee, if the coffee should be all liquid or combined with water or how many drops of essential oils
@TheHennaGuys Жыл бұрын
Coffee should be in liquid form. If you are looking for darker tones then only coffee should be used and is you looking to have some redness in your hair then adding some lemon will do. ACV only add 2-3tbsp and used to help with grey hair.

@TheHennaGuys8 ай бұрын
Henna cannot lighten hair, so your darker hair will likely not show much color. But, your gray hair will pick up the color.

Hello, i have medium brown and i want orange hair, is it better with or without lemon for more orange tone? I wanna avoid darker red tones and just want orange. And is it better with pure water or camomile tea for lighter orange? And The more hot water means the more red tones instead orange? Thank you!
@TheHennaGuys3 жыл бұрын
It will be a bit tricky to have orange hair on your medium brown. Yes adding lemon juice will help:) Would recommend doing a small strand test to help you better understand if it will work for you:) Hope this helps!

Hi Rosey, Yes you can always mix henna with lemon juice.

You can mix with organic cassia and a tea made from pure chamomile (not in bags, loose leaf). Us gingers need to look out for one another. 50/50 mix. Lemon juice can make your hair hella dry.

you mentioned using plain brewed coffee… How does that effect the color vs black tea? I know the acidity level matters to help bring out the hue, but could you explain a little more in depth? THANK YOU 🧡

Black coffee helps bring out darker color tone then Black tea. However black tea does help too if thats what you have.

I've been dying my hair with henna for a couple years now and I usually just let the henna sit for about an hour before applying it. I also find that using conditioning treatments during the application will cause the color to not take as well. That can be a good thing if you don't want really bright red hair. My natural hair color is sort of a medium ash blonde and I usually get bright Auburn results.
@GoldieHoffmanComedian2 жыл бұрын
Hey, curious what type of henna do you use for the colors? say like the 'natural red' and the 'orange red' and the 'pure henna package'...they all say the same ingredient but I'm curious if they're the same TYPE of lawsonia ...Been using and loving your products for a year now but now reading a lot more about how there's types with diff. concentrations which create more/less vibrant reds or types of reds/orange/darker too etc. -- for ex 'red raj' henna from another company says it's the highest concentration lawsonia like 3.something percent. there's also 'yemeni henna', jamila, etc. So yeah, what type do you Henna Guys use for the 'natural red' vs. 'orange red' and the 'pure henna powder'? (ie are they all the same type and just diff. heating processes as you answered Nonya below or both?)
@TheHennaGuys2 жыл бұрын
They are all the same and just differing in the application process.
@GoldieHoffmanComedian2 жыл бұрын
@@TheHennaGuys Ok, so then what's the diff. between 'Natural Red' and 'Orange Red'? (I know the pure henna is just henna, no shower cap, gloves etc). I watched both vids for 'natural red' and 'orange red' just now and not only are they the exact same ingredient, they're also the exact same preparation and application process and time -- yet your color chart shows different shades. plz explain if this is a mistake and they're just really the exact same product. gonna order some more of your other powders and wanted to try one of them, too (or technically try 'both' by buying 1 if they're actually the same thing lol). :)
@TheHennaGuys2 жыл бұрын
You are absolutely correct. Natural Red and Orange Red contain the same ingredient of Pure Henna. However, our natural red is processed thru extreme heat more than orange red to achieve the desired color. Natural red is slightly darker than orange red when applied and again colors do depend on the individual's hair type. Hope this helps:)

What is the difference between "Orange Red" henna and your "Natural Red" henna. They say they're different colors on your website but the both also say the only ingredient is 100% henna. I watched both videos on how to prepare both of these hennas and they're the exact same process. You use coffee in both. What makes one a different color from another? Is it a lie that it's only henna in one of the packages or is it a lie that they're different colors? Please clarify this
@TheHennaGuys3 жыл бұрын
Hi Nonya, thank you so much for this question! Yes they both are pure henna but the difference between "orange red" & "Natural Red" is that Natural Red is processed thru extra heat to get extra color release.

Love the video, if you have course hair, my curl pattern is 3c to 3b, would it be damaging to leave ot sitting for longer both in the bowl and on my head under the cap? Or would it just increase the likelihood I come out with a more vibrant color. Also which teas do you suggest for a more copper orange hue? Or anytime of natural additive for example roose petals to some type of root.
@TheHennaGuys3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! For the reds 8-10 would be perfect but nothing more then 12 hours. As it started to loose its potency. As for the Hair, the more vibrant you like, the longer you can keep on:) For the teas, would recommend Hibiscus tea or black tea for darker tones. Hope this helps:)
