5, of course. So. Is Indian subcontinent as specific provenance as you have? I don't know why, but I'm my mind I'm thinking that it could be a tent flap that was corded around the edges and bottom to keep from flipping up. I'd like to see if I can find so.erhi g in the illuminations, but north or south might help a bit. It's early for Mughal, but I can see what I can see...

So this was pretty teeny tiny for a tent flap...not ruling it out completely, but I would be surprised. I'll have to look back at dates, but it's not Mughal ... I get to see three panels for a tent (still connected) on Monday and that's definitely a different style of painting out of Golconda... *swoon*
